Hmm... I think the ALICE chat robot has a suspiciously masculine voice, and a fraffly English accent! BARBARO asked me if I liked Star Trek, which was very sweet of him. I think we were possibly getting into a film themed chat, because after I asked him if he liked Seabiscuit, he asked if I liked cats and dogs. :brows: I think AI has a way to go yet...

I think we should try to have a sensible conversation with Barbaro and copy it here. First mention of Star Wars means you've lost.

We discussed diet - he likes oats and hay, but didn't go a bundle on lobster thermidor or tournedos Rossini. So a dinner date's out of the question, I think.

A - With bathing suit season right around the corner, I'm trying to watch my figure. My diet consists of good hay, oats, sweet feed, and drink lots of water.

A - Im going to try my hardest. But, its 1 and a half miles, and I haven't run that far since I was a foal in the field!

Just thought I'd bring this to the top, so we could wish him well, and admire the picture of him in full flight. Such a damn shame, after we'd been having a spot of fun with him, too.
 
Barbaro's great and hopefully we'll be able to see loads of little Barbaro's running round the tracks in the future, fingers crossed for today's surgery :)
 
Yeah I've read a few threads on the topic but as alot of it is opinion based and the only official stuff I've heard is from the vet via Ven and from the owner who did seem quite hopeful I've got everything crossed, alternatively I may just have my head in the sand :(
