Ten To Follow Tables

Thankyou for doing this Faye. I know it takes a huge amount of work, particularly so quickly when the Festival was in full swing.

Jinny is doing a fine job of saving on postage for the trophy too!

Have I missed any stable horses scoring points this last week? I didn't think I'd noticed any so haven't posted any updates.

I think we only have Ashroe Diamond and Flame Bearer scoring this weekend so I'll wait till after Aintree to post updated tables. Let me know if you've had any other winners that I haven't noticed.

Here are the updated tables after the National meeting - I think jinnyj will be difficult to catch now after successes with Corach Rambler and Banbridge :) I do feel like I might have missed someone somewhere though so do please check your own tables and see if there is anything missing. Thanks

Thanks again. A monumental effort to keep track of all this.

Congratulations jinnyj although I think I may be in with a squeak if Hewick lands the Bet365 GC and Greaneteen lands the Celebration chase [emoji3]

I don't think there are any runners tomorrow (which is the last day of the competition) so here are the final leaderboards and stables. Many, many congratulations to jinnyj who has led the way for most of the comp - and finishes over 100 points clear of her nearest rival. Honourable mentions to Grasshopper, Outsider and granger, all of whom had over 700 points. As always, please let me know if I have missed anyone out but I think it's unlikely that any missed horses will affect the result.

Jinny - can you organise to send yourself the trophy please

Well done Jinnyj .

I've often said racing is about making the right decision.i had 10 horses instead of 9 and crossed out Corach Rambler.

Congrats jinnyj on a very convincing win

And thanks again New Approach for organising

Congrats Jinnyj ; my two stables just about outscored your best stable .
I feel a little like Gordon Elliott ...

PJ, as Marine Nationale was top dark horse I owe you 50 Euro .
Have you a betting partner preference or will I just send you a gilded hard cover first edition of my upcoming book ?
( You might be waiting a while mind !)

Well done, Jinny, a fine performance.

And thanks to Faye for the excellent organisation and also to the generous sponsors.

Thank you firstly to Maruco for putting up the prize and trophy....feeling slightly fraudulent that have ended up winning it especially as I selected the horses for the list  and am mildly relieved that I got chinned for the Dark Horse on that score! But really it’s just a question of getting the scoring horses in the right list and I was very confident about Corach Rambler!

Another huge thank you to Faye for compiling the table. Not a task I would have risen to quite so enthusiastically!

I thought as I already had the trophy I had better have a proper presentation done so as I was at a point to point today (got called off last minute due to thick fog) I had taken trophy to show someone as we can get similar for a point to point award this season. Anyway due to no racing, I collared Mr Biddick and made it an official presentation :D

Very well done Jinny. You didn't just beat the field, it was by a distance hard held! I think that is easily the biggest margin of victory for any of our Ten To Follow Competitions. Also a big thankyou for getting us all organised in the first place. It really does feel fitting that the new trophy stays with you.

Also well done to Grasshopper for pipping Outsider to second place. You also win a prize, and are proof that, outside of Jinny's obvious skill, it's worth anyone entering because its a game of pure chance.:lol:

When you get a moment could you both send me a WhatsApp message with your details of where you'd like me to transfer the money please.

And last, but far from least, a huge thankyou to Faye for doing all the hard work throughout the season. It really is very much appreciated. Without you I suspect the competitions would never have got off the ground this year, and it's a lot of fun and interest throughout the season for all of us.

Aww...you’re very kind. Thank you! I think it was really just a question of getting the right horses in the one list...usually I spread them out but I always try to do one that I feel is stronger than the other.

I will do as requested. I think apart from winning the Dark Horse with my beloved Defi, I did win this competition about ten years ago and then spent the money on buying clothes for my niece who was pretty ungrateful! She’s definitely getting nothing this time!
