Horses with points today

Bellshill 54pts (1 nomination)

Next Destination 30pts (Dark Horse for Desperate Dan Team A)

Colreevy 20pts (Dark Horse for Diamond Geezer Team C)

No change at top of leaderboard but a significant change in the race for top scoring Dark Horse as Desperate Dan Team A's horse Next Destination takes over at the top with 98pts now scored.

3 days to go

Please correct me if I'm wrong (I know you will anyway!), but Maruco has one bullet left to fire, Apples Jade in the mares race. If she wins and Samcro (my last bullet) does not, Maruco will take a clean sweep of both parts of the Ante Post competition, the Ten To Follow and the Winter Prize.

Best of luck, Paul.

Subject to any counter claims it's congratulations to Grey (Art) on winning this season's competition, just holding off Maruco (Paul), a great effort in being the only two players to break the 700pts barrier.

The winner of the prize for top scoring Dark Horse is Desperate Dan with Next Destination, whose victory on the second day of the Punchestown Festival saw off long time leader Grey (Art) and his Dark Horse Total Recall.

Finally a big thanks once again to the sponsor of the TTF, swedish chef (David), and Roddy who put up the prize for top scoring Dark Horse, I trust they will liase with the winners via PM to make the necessary arrangements.

Thank you all for playing, work is already taking place to draw up the list of 200 horses which will form the basis for next season's competition, which will start on November 1st, and which will be posted 7/10 days previously.

Congratulations to Grey, Desperate Dan and all those at the top of the board, very well done

Many thanks DG for organising this competition, it's my favourite one (despite my poor efforts in it!) and it must take an enormous amount of work to run it as efficiently as you do

Thanks also to the sponsors, much appreciated

Some of us at the bottom of the table are merely biding our time

And so it turned out , I'm happy to say, even if I was far from confident at the time I wrote that post, in late November when my three entries were still on zero points. :)

Thanks to DG (Roger) for running things once again with his usual efficiency, it makes a big difference to the enjoyment of the competitions when they are so well managed.

Thanks also to swedish chef and Roddy Owen who put up the prizes, it's much appreciated.

Maruco (Paul) would have added this competition to both parts of the Ante Post competition had Apples Jade won today. But consolation arrives in the form of the Winter Prize, which he can add to his Cheltenham spoils for the best overall performance in the two competitions.

And thanks to everyone else who took part, I hope you'll be around to do it all again in the autumn.

Well done Art. I thought you were down and out after week 1. :D Also well done to Dan for another fine late run.

Thanks to David and Roddy for the sponsorship, but the biggest thanks to Roger of course. It's an awful lot if work over a very long time, just to keep us lot amused and interested. And I'm sure I speak for everyone one when I say just how much it's appreciated.

Well Done Art & Dan and all those who took part.

Thanks to the organisers and those who helped & Chef & Roddy for the prizes which I was close to getting my hands on :) in a couple, but always the bridesmaid....

Well done guys - as always a great competition and makes the whole season a lot more fun. And as ever huge thanks to DG who is simply in a league of his own when it comes to organising these competitions!

Congratulations Grey on a great performance and a top effort from Paul too in second.

Many thanks to the organisers and sponsors of this thoroughly enjoyable comp.

Can't post as much and missed a couple of comps now for work, so absouloutly tremendous effort managing to run this competition for such a long time.

Greatly appreciated and one of the reasons this is one of my favourite forums on the net. Congratulations to the winner as well, excellent score.
