The 2025 Coral Gold Cup (Handicap Chase)

What is it with Newbury and horses sitting wide and not settling. Every horse I bet there is beat after a circuit.

Meanwhile a certain unnamed burglar seems to have attached himself to the biggest gamble of the day again. And once more unable to bet with the firms that offered the 40's I was too proud to accept the 33's the exact scenario repeated from the Rhoscolyn fiasco.

YFUSA was going to wait until post time, but has decided to produce now.

Pic Roc, Panic Attack, Three Card Brag and The Changing Man are the quartet for those Tricast combinations.

There is absolutely no need to thank YFUSA for this - he's all about helping first-time Point-to-Point racegoer transvestites fund a suitably-green ensemble ready to grace the bank at Chaddesley Corbett over Yuletide.
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, what seems to have occurred?

And YFUSA would have had the 1-2-3-4 if Pic Roc hadn't lost ten lengths at the start.

Apologies my corfolio is more of a bore folio

Myretown
Panic attack
Doyen Chief

Are the 3 I've backed antepost but if ive got to add a 4th to try for the quadfecta it'd have to be the Changing man as come hell or high water today, he'll manage to finish 2nd.

Amazing tipping Ian
Hope you had plenty on the trickster over 3000/1 sp and over 5000/1 trifecta.
Well done.

Top bombing!
The only one i fancied out of the top 3 was 3 card brag but not enough to back it.

I have to say it's as difficult a race to work out that I have looked at in a while. And the rain is not helping either.
I did like Panic Attack for Cheltenham but I think that was her target and I have stamina doubts with her in this especially as the softening ground (was it really only 2 weeks ago we were getting walkovers?!)
Myretown has been in my tracker from day one - a classy LR/PS long distancer who is a second season chaser and open to improvement - rain not ideal but his action suggests he should just about cope
Gorgeous Tom - I think the trainer is quietly confident
Blizzard of Oz - well one of Willie's needs to go in the mix so this is my pick and he's unexposed
A couple of bigger prices too
Inch House - Cobden on 10.2 is enticing plus he's a course winner. He's a very unobvious pick and connections may just be wanting another day out as they won last year with Kandoo but I will do a little ew
Intense Raffles - always liked this horse and while he has plenty of weight(OK 5lb claimer on board), he does stay and he does like mud so any rain will boost his chances.

But it's hellish open and I am looking forward to it.
Yes, me too. There won't be many winners of the Hennessey by an Irish 2000 Guineas winner.

Never thought she'd stay for a minute. Blizzard was going well enough until that juddering mistake ended his race. The fences are there to be jumped so no excuses for him.
I wonder if the ground just wasn't quite right for GT, do you?
