Having sorted out the winners for tomorrow, I thought I’d have a quick look at Wednesday’s cards. I was shocked to find that the Home Team had only three of the eleven runners in the Turners and NONE AT ALL in the Brown Advisory. This is our flagship meeting for goodness sake - the BHA should be worried, very worried.

First race for me kicks of st 8.20pm which is proving to be the longest ,8 hours of my racing life...can't sleep or eat...I need some Constitution 😭

Looks like they have made the right decision regarding the ground.
Very unlikely there will be much change in the weather until possibly Friday which can only enhance the chances we will witness history if the ground ends up very soft for the Gold Cup

I would rather we have g/s as most horses go well on it..really can't be arsed worrying is a horse goes on it or not to be honest

Bets day 1:
Workahead and William Munny at nice odds ante-post. Scared of the fav and I have him in doubles as a hedge with The New Lion and Golden Ace (without the front two in the market)

Transmission ante-post in the NHC at around 9/1 and I've had to back Resplendent Grey as well as a tracker horse (was initially on him for the Kim Muir.)

Good luck everyone.

Got a feeling the front 2 home will go on to be pretty good horses.

Imagine how good Kopek Des Bordes would be if he could actually jump a hurdle properly! He does look more like a chaser so wonder if The Arkle will be the route they take for next season.

3 mins 52.04 ( 3.04s slower than standard). Clerk of the course Jon Pullin said beforehand that he wasn't planning to water the Old Course again before Wednesday which means it will be close to good ground tomorrow - if it isn't already.

3.52 reads good to soft good in places, will get quicker as the day goes on if the sun comes out

Rarely does Barry Connell get as excited about a horse as much as he does William Munny, if excited is the correct word Alex.
Romeo has 7 lengths to find on WM from Punchestown Champion Bumper, not impossible I know.
My tipping is as accurate as my time keeping so keep that in mind at all times.
Well tipped, and everyone else who tipped William Munny. The only horse to give Kopek a race.
