Pistols, The Stranglers, The Undertones, Buzzcocks, SKIDS, The Rezillos It feels like 1976 again!! If you threw in 999, The Ruts, The Damned, Penetration, UK Subs, etc it would be close on a full house. It's a long, long time since I saw any of that lot live in the Nashville, Marquee, Roundhouse, etc. Yet strangely it feels like it could be yesterday.

Have a great day when it comes to it, Coach.
Thanks chaumi. Seems like yesterday I was pogoing to the stranglers and the rats on one leg after having a toenail taken out. Blood everywhere and my foot throbbing but well worth it. The best time ever to be a teenager followed by the late 50s of eddie cochran gene Vincent and buddy Holly. I went to 23 concerts in 6 moths in late 77 and early 78.Seen every top punk band bar the clash. Saw devo recently. They were just fantastic

I'm lucky in that I can drive up in the morning. Left at 8.20 Tuesday and got to my parking space (via JustPark - highly recommend as got out within minutes) by 10.10 with one stop for a wee/coffee en route at Michaelwood services.

I'm working on my nephew who has just got engaged to his girlfriend who is due to inherit a nice place just 20 minutes from the course. They have been a few times but I just need them to book time off work for the week so I can stay!
Put in a Talking Horses Coach house so we can all stay !

There's probably one already!! It's not a small property - I think 100 or so acres so bring a tent!! :ROFLMAO: His mother is thrilled at his choice of wife to be - but she's seriously lovely and totally gets my rather eccentric nephew.

I backed the second at the top of the hill as it should not have got beaten (jockey error imo) he waited too long.
Winner looked a picture in the paddock and I am kicking myself for not backing her on that alone but I thought she may have been vulnerable to one with speed. Galileo Dame got stopped several times and Maughreen was a wipe out at the start...boo!

I ended up with a few quid ew on the winner at 20/1 - watching Racing TV and they were talking with Mrs Ricci about her wine and asked for a tip and she said Ruby Walsh was tipping Air of Entitlement ew

I could not understand this horse running over shorter and PFN saying he was a slow two miler. This was almost a well-executed plan - a graded horse thrown in a handicap. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in a Gold Cup now.
Plus PFN said he needs heavy....he moves far too well for that. PFN def planned this one.

King George certainly and then you know the rest

The stories don’t stop at this Festival first HDB and RB after a torrid season and now Nicholls/Cobden magic up a massively improved effort from Caldwell Potter .

FFS 1st and 2nd in the Pertemps, probably the first time I have backed the winner of the race but I didnt have the forecast.
Only small stakes but with the first race winner and these 2 gets me back my losses from yesterday which apart from the first winner was a complete wipeout for me.
