The Festival Handicaps

I don't think I've won on once since 2014 either! Alfie Sherrin was the last.

2nds 3rds and 4ths a plenty though.

I rarely bother. Kelami for Douman and Top Cees in the Coral Cup are the only ones I can remember backing.

Been a follower of Singlefarmpayment since he finished a wayward Saigon City style second in a handicap hurdle at Ascot at the start of last year. Hoping he turns up in the Ultima or Kim Muir. Be my only handicap bet.

Used to drain money away in the handicaps but feel I've got the hang of them now. People may mock but trends are a key tool to cracking them.

What A Charm, Flaxen Flare, Silver jaro, Cause Of Causes, Bellvano, Carlito Brigante ( but scrubbed him unfortunately) among the "feelings in my water " speculations. Ability to cope with big fields crucial as horses are continually turning on old track especially.
I will miss Paul Carberry big time though.

I'll be seriously interested in the marks allowed to the 2 Patrick Kelly runners, I'm well on at 33/1 for Presenting Percy and Mall Dini hasn't been off a yard since last March.

Most likely it will be a Cheltenham Handicap hurdle grab the first price you see

Half a chance he might go for the Imperial Cup but more likely straight to the festival

Now leave me alone and give me Peace I don't need any Company

Nice, he gets the entry. He should be better on good ground or Gd-St. Doesn't look like the bookies have reformed their markets yet so no prices atm.

For the last couple of years at least Corals have gone 6 places 1/4 the odds on "their" race on the Wednesday. Expect a couple of others to pay 6 places on the day but might only be 1/5 odds (same might apply for the County)

SkyBet have started going 6 places quite regularly too lately so I wouldn't be surprised to see them chipping in with that on a few of the races.

Tudor City and Golden Spear in the County for AJ but no Heartbreak City interestingly
Mall Dini with a couple of entries too but you have to think they'd send him for the more prestigious handicap on the Tuesday
Pleased to see Romain De Senam entered in the novices h'cap on Tuesday too.

Westerner Point who won again today has an entry.
Owned by a local syndicate and has a wonderful attitude and is the Apache Gold of jumpers in my eyes.
I hope he gets a run as win or lose he will give his all and deserves his chance.

A J Martin has a few in Fred Winter that ran very well at Leopardstown at Christmas for Newtown Anner Stud.
