Providing there is not too much more rain the Fillies Mile today should be worth watching.

As as a follower of the Harrington stable I ‘adopted’ Alpha Centauri before she had run and followed her throughout her career. A fantastic journey that that came to a premature end but had rekindled my enthusiasm for the flat. That Jessie could bring out a string of such high class fillies this year is simply incredible.
Albigna, Alpine Star, Cayenne Pepper, Millisle, and Windracer. A formidable five. Albigna is my favourite,( how did they not not know she was in season?) as her finishing runs are simply jaw dropping.

There are several other very good fillies this season and Love is a darn good one but has been beaten by three of Jessie’s in her career. Quadrilateral is taking a step up and looks a decent beast but for me has it to prove.
The ground concern dissuades me from a heavy bet but Cayenne Pepper for me.

It's remarkable what that stable achieves, in both codes, on behalf of a broad and diverse set of owners.

Worthy winner! I have Albigna for the Guineas at 20’s single and in double with Kemboy to win Gold Cup. Small bets but an interest. I’m sure Albigna will shorten up.

I thought it looked like a strong race. Thought the first six home looked really nice.
