Fair play to the guy who does the TPD page at the ATR site.

He laid out the cases for TNL and against RS this morning.

A seriously good performance from The New Lion there.

Puts him ahead of Potters Charm in the pecking order of British novice hurdlers

Good interview with Darren Yates after The New Lion.Darren initially came to public attention when he won a fortune on Dettori's magnificent seven.Subsequently he became a property developer and earned an even bigger fortune.
Interview was on ATR -definitely worth a watch.

Yes, he was good value and perfect with MC

Very nice performance by The Yellow Clay there. Jasmin de Vaux really needs to brush up on jumping...he was poor on debut too.

Here's another bit of nonsense sparked by the bookies:

Surely the bookies are it here and hyping a donkey to attract mug money?

Maybe Tanlic has heard something from his old contacts and can put us right but this smells to me.

While recognising that I don't trust RPRs where French hurdlers are concerned, it has to be pointed out that this horse only has a hurdles RPR of 90. It's something like 8/15 for this race on Saturday when there is one rated 138 in it and the Burdett Road people have a well-regarded Flat recruit in it too. I sense a betting opporchancity...
