Bar the winner I thought it was an absolutely shocking race -most of them didn't even look like racehorses in the final furlong.
Really? I thought it was the one part of the race where she hit top gear, having finally been straightened up and asked to move forward and nail the leader.
It was class - rather than stamina - that got her through. How else would you explain a less than 2l beating of a horse rated 22lbs lower?
