Second Step in the John Porter on Saturday. Goes best fresh and moving to Charlton from Luca could be interesting. Overs at 10s.
 
Kilbeggan 6.05 Dontbackme 14/1 e/way - lightly raced 10yo finished 2nd at this meeting 2015 and won here last year off 109 - in a fast time - races today off 103 - finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th in all hurdle races when good was in the going description. I don't believe this will go off double figure odds.

I'd have serious reservations about this one. Especially worth noting that this race will be 1/4 odds 1-3 and not 1-4 as displayed by some bookmakers due to reserves.
 
good luck all, I didn't realise there would be others putting up bets on this thread.
Seeing as I've just followed slim from the start, I'd be better just sticking with him.

Cheers, I was looking at Fine Rightly at the time but backed it win only anyway! 33/1 was the best price and available to both fractions.

I took the 5 places option with the 100/1 shot.

Win Only is just never right. Fine Rightly was an excellent bet 1/4 5 places at 40/1.

Lads weren't long cutting that, too quick for me to get something on. Disappointing but 28/1 with PP 4 places still good.

Traded odds on but always going to be tight with 2 cards going into the last 5 minutes. Sums up a frustrating seven days for me.
