Something that I've noticed over the last couple of months is how often Paddy Brennan looks behind him like a 16 year old apprentice when in front. I don't know how much it actually affects his riding, but smacks of a reduced level of confidence.

Not sure Gud Day idled to the extent that it stopped him from winning, but you couldn't have predicted that sort of finish to do him even at the last. Unlucky.

440 - Old Man Clegg

He run to 84 last time out and the top rated here is 79. When running on seasonal reapperance he was tried over 10f they must think he's got stamina hence why he loves the Yorks of this world with a wide and testing course.

;) This should be the number 1 rule of this thread. Otherwise put it on the What are you backing today thread. A lesson I have personally learned from the board.

But most stables fancy most of their runners..so are guessing themselves tbh.

Are we saying that unless the tip is "info" then it shouldn't be posted?

i've no prob with that..just saving people with no info the effort of posting on this thread in future

Thought it was a max confidence bet myself but I suppose the inverted commas in 'will win' are a giveway.

EC1, Hawkwing and BennyB - I apologise of course you are right, there are enough good judges on the board to make a max call without info.

The intention was not to criticise your abilities but more to bring to the attention of FrogTheBountyMuncher there was a 'What you backing Today' thread.

:o:o

no prob Chef..didn't take offence...i just think that thread is about info from what Slim said at start. i may have a few angles on a horse..but have no stable connections

i'm happy enough on other thread...can't pick me nose on this one:)

No offence taken Chef! Don't know whether it's info or form study or whatever, but your selections on here must be profitable overall - they seem to win often enough, mostly when I haven't backed them!
