Me I don't follow anyones bets unless they coincide with my own opinion.

But I thought when you came on this thread you were supposed to starting chanting , "slim , slim, slim", first as a low murmur but gradually increasing in volume....

I'm pretty much the same in that I only use my own judgement. Occasionally it works, invariably it doesn't. Until fairly recently it was rare that I had enough confidence in myself to actually post anything I fancied - I've always suffered hugely from impostor syndrome in pretty much everything I have every got involved in - be it training horses, framing pictures, organising anything really. Which is incredibly stupid as I can be quite good on occasion.

But I have plenty of respect for those that do post tips as I know a lot of work can go into it.

Whilst it's headed "The Will Win Thread" I've always viewed it as a thread where Slim put up same but if (eg Reet) puts one up I'm happy to consider it.

All that said I can see Slim's issue given that imo it's his thread.

My bet of the year by a big margin runs next Saturday.I will put it up on this thread because I said I would a few weeks ago but I feel a big responsibility towards certain punting friends of mine -there is one lad who has got plenty of winners over the years who seems to delight in the losers -he won't be getting it.There are 3or 4 other lads who I could give it to but it isn't just the fact they could lose a few quid on it but you could put them off a winner which is adding insult to injury.

Just to add to that Reet recently put 2 more up on the what are you backing today thread and reffered to them as nailed on bets as he couldnt find the will win thread . It seems to be he finds winners easier to find than the thread itself
