They Don't Mess About On Trf

For some strange reason, Swirly, I would never feel the need to justify my own actions - still less those of someone else - to you. :lol:

If you don't agree with it, why not purchase (i.e. spend some of your own money) some webspace and open a forum of your own, where you can set your own rules?

I agree that people who run websites are entitled to make the rules of those sites and I don't know too many other sites but I find it very, very strange that it is forbidden to mention the names of other sites! Two things spring immediately to mind : firstly that if other sites had that rule we'd never be able to hold our inter-forum competitions and secondly that the first time that I ever heard about the rule was when the announcement of the death of Alan Morgan was deleted on there.
 
I am amazed by that, Brian. There are some very insecure and pitiful people out there.
 
Talking of Alan Morgan! Remember to raise a glass to him (or preferably a cup of Tea) when we are all tucking into our Christmas Dinners in about 10 days time. He will certainly be one of the "Absent Friends" I will be toasting!

Yes ACTUALLY I was going to put on here if someone could send me via p/m (obviously) Karen & childrens address I could then have sent a Christmas card to them..................
 
Over on FF we have completely different rules.
If you persist in talking about horse racing you will be issued with a written warning, and if you continue to do it you will be banned,
Anyone making more than 20 posts in a year is instantly banned, and if you enter the chatroom and fail to swear within the first 2 minutes you are also banned.


It works for us. :D
 
Why cant we start randomly barring people on here for minor offences. Surely I deserve some sort of a ban at this stage?
