Sire record with NH runners the last 5 years on today’s going is 1/98. Hurdle wise that becomes 9/70.
Sire at the Course the last 5 years with Hurdlers is 1/13 and on today’s going that becomes 0/4.
At all undulating tracks with an uphill finish, over Hurdles, and on today’s going the record is 0/13 and 0 places.
Breeding suggest that Course and Conditions are against this one.
Trainer at the Course the last 5 years under NH code has a record of 9/94. The last winner was 1 year ago, and the losing run is 12.
The record over the period with Hurdlers is 6/50 and the last winner was as above. He hasn’t sent another Hurdler here since.
Current form has been below par with a 30 day record of 3/89. Hurdles wise that becomes 1/50.
He hasn’t had a winner this year under NH code, and the losing run is 44. There are a lot of double figure prices within that number but even his fancied ones aren’t performing.
Jockey form over the last 30 days has been poor with a record of 1/43. Today’s trainer does account for 27 of those rides but the remaining 16 he hasn’t even placed in.
Is the confidence there as regards the stables runners?
There are only 2 that can beat it in a proper run race but that’s enough to take it on, especially on Sire data and Trainer form.
