Top 10 3yo Prospects For 2006

No PDJ, it will not be divided in terms of quality just split evenly into 2 races. If a few more juveniles come out before the end of the year from Ballydoyle I propose a Division III.

Finally a division of the 2000 Guineas could also be held back until around July time to allow Pescatorio a chance to run?

Galileo, wouldn´t AOB be confussed with the last minute declarations then ?

Keep it simple Luis, declare the yard in each race bound to have the winner in each then. The Pescatorio idea is a real runner, now to get on to the bookies to see will they pay out on Division VII of the 2000 Guineas in July......

Is he going to Dr Naylor next year ? ;)
Christ i wish he was. I know he needs to improve to win the Dewhurst but he is going to be even better next year thats for sure.

I think you will find the Guineas Div I & II is not a new idea. Ballydoyle took both races in 2003......

One of my Classic prospects will run this Sunday in Italy in an easy race with only 5 runners and prize money very similar to the Dewhurst .I find hard to believe that no English trained horse in entered for the race . Maybe they don´t need the money ...

Strange Fallon has been declared for Italy but also Naas tomorrow. Wonder was/is there a doubt about Aussie Rules running.

See that now Powerscourt thanks. Looked a handy enough race for him. Decent card at Naas tomorrow. Will be interesting to see how the market is formed in the maiden tomorrow at Naas. Its the maiden Footstepsinthesand won last year landing a massive gamble. Fallon is down to ride Shark Tooth (twice unplaced) ahead of the regally bred The Wild Swan. I doubt the bookies will be taking any chances though.

The ground in Italy is probably very soft and Aussie Rules needs fast ground. May be the reason he doesn't run.

Can't believe Shark Tooth by Sadlers Wells is running over six furlongs with Fallon up. Heard O'Brien interviewed last Sunday and he was saying he had plenty of two year olds he wanted to get a run into before the end of the season.

Might see a jockey change on this one.

I was happy with my 2/5 ante post bet on Pescatorio for the 2000 Guineas Div 5 , but TWS has been very impressive today . Travelling very well from a bad draw and with a great pedigree . Nice colt .

I think they should check Shark tooth´s weight. I bet you he is overweight at least 2 kilos!

Shark Tooth actually ran a decent enough race in the end. Anyone who would back him at 6furlongs on good ground needs their head examined. In truth both he and the winner drifted in the market.

Didn´t Fallon know that the race was over 6f and the horse was by SWells ?
Do you really think that Fallon thought he was on the best horse for the race ?

I honestly do not have a clue Luis, Shark Tooth was very well backed on his first run.

While I completely agree with you on face value it looks a set up but in truth TWS drifted in the market. I do not think many bookies took any risk with TWS today given what has happened not already this year but also in this very race last year.

Fair enough.I obviously don´t know either .
The question that it´s on my mind now is what kind of set up are we talking about ?
Obviously the market for this race is very small and I don´t thing anybody has become rich today backing TWS , but maybe somebody has had Oratorio´s losses back from yesterday , or somebody has a yard full of happy employees ,etc...

I won't disagree with you Luis, when I saw the jockey bookings I thought it was strange, but in truth any sort of "stunt" today would simply have been too obvious.
