Ill just add here that I'm getting pretty sick of having delete posts by the same people over and over again.
If you don't have anything constructive to say apart from slagging someone off or making snide comments then don't bother posting or I will remove your posting abilities.
Thats not aimed at any one person in particular, but there is about 4 members who seem to have more posts deleted between them than the rest of the forum put together.

Exactly what I'm talking about

A statement rather than adding something to the debate going on. If you don't agree with what someone posts, then reply with something relevent to the topic in question rather than just something like that. If you have a problem with someone PM them to sort it out or just ignore their posts.

Sorry did not see it before or would have posted this when it went up .....I think you best retract that statement concerning me as ALL I am guilty of his highlighting that you take sides and to be a moderator you need to be unbiased we dont get this from the other two on here.. we did get it from PDJ as well and I nominated him to take over from our mate ALAN so was glads he resigned when he did ... nothing more..

My posting are always with in the boards rules no swear words which you turn a blind eye to when the board owner has stated that his children read the threads..

I want a level playing field for all not biased moderating I dont think that that is out of any order do you???

OK, through the constant slagging off of what posts get deleted or edited, another mod has quit (the second recently).

From now on anyone publicly criticising any moderation that has gone on on the forum will be instantly banned.

If you don't like something that has been done, PM the person who did it and if you get no luck then PM me. DO NOT post on the board.

For the record if something is deleted or edited whoever did it doesn't have to give a reason. However, if they are asked privately then usually they will tell you, I know I will. Just because someone doesn't reply instantly it doesn't mean they won't, but we do have lives away from here.

Merlin I deleted an attack on moderation by you yesterday . The position on moderators is Col's choice not mine after Songsheet and PDJ were so fed up with being abused they resigned .

221bar1 your posting has been deleted for personal abuse.

I suggest that you all read the Moderators thread - Col has given you his final warning .
 
Whoa there just a second......I think that you are all well out of order tearing into the moderators like this. They were appointed to do a very difficult job that they are not paid for, don't forget. They have to police members breaking the rules of the forum, which are (lest anyone forgets) not to make abusive or offensive comments. Things are getting well carried away at the moment, with the moderators as well as other forum members being slagged off left right & centre and being subjected to all froms of abuse. Will everyone please chill, take a pull & ensure that this forum returns to the friendly place it used to be not so long ago.
 
With due respect to the owner and Moderadors.

I have NEVER had a problem with any Moderator.My problems have been with a poster who happens to be a Moderator.

There IS a difference.

What is offensive ?
What is abuse ?
Whose interpretation ?
 
If you don't like it on here, 221bar1, don't post. It is pretty simple really.
 
PDJ, why don't you post that joke that you claimed was a cracker ?

If you don't then I will, just to let others see what your judgement is.
 
Because I think it is certain that some poeple will take offence. I sent it you in a PRIVATE message as you asked me to do so. I didn't put it up on here as too many people would find it offensive. Simple really.
 
Surely if people find things offensive that easily, they shouldn't be posting on a public forum? Last time i checked i lived in a country that has free speech. As long as your not abusive, if someone finds something offensive that is their problem. People are far too PC just because its the in thing to be.
 
Does'nt offend me one bit tbh, it might others but its only a joke for crying out loud.

Sorry just came on here and see this thread.............. and posted this with in the boards rules in the anticipation that we can get back to some normality and a level playing field for all...

Your interpretation of being a racist is far apart from mine and I have lived with black people for over ?? yrs ....just because you now meet it in your job of work in the midlands I worked in the midlands before you were born working with black people Asians too....

And its because of people like you that racism is now portrayed the way it is !!! you ought to relax a little, they (black people) wont hurt you, you know they are the same as you and I, but with darker skin and differing cultures, nothing else....

Obviously of had, that, you could be the man!!! for the job? but then your attitude started to change and reflect what one would term as you being the teacher and addressing us grown up people as your 12 yr olds that is or was a silly thing to have done!! maybe you were not aware of it either but it was a trait you were imposing on us. I am stating facts not creating lies I thought after 9 yrs of knowing me, through this medium you would have realised how sincere and truthful I am and have always been.

Misunderstood a few times "yes" but still very sincere!! I had the shock of my life(having had a month away through ill health) when I heard that adult people on here, have been suspended I thought someone was actually pulling my leg and having a larf!!!

I was disappointed at Julie when she originally resigned, as like I have stated I have found her and Brian as being very good at their job but for some unknown reason ARDROSS as taken it upon himself to be judge and jury (his this a psychological thing? where lesser people like to try and enforce their doctrines on to others and actually get a buzz from doing it? thinking they are representing one side like a defence lawyer??) and one blatantly take sides when a squabble has taken place(do you not know that a moderator should be impartial at all times) removed threads from one side and left the other persons on here! Although the said threads were a personal attack on one from the other, that's not on and is in contravention of a moderators job.....

What’s happened to this forum???? as the one moderator become a dictator??? has he been on a weight lifting course and trying to use his muscles?? strange to me how so called power can effect ones actual reasoning’s......

PAUL the contex it was said in, is below and appeared on here as such , I see you have posted it and its been on here longer than my original whimisical real life happening come joke..................which had these lines in it....

I was cooking a curry and had INDIANS and PA??outside my door because I make a really good curry...and the elderly lady who has now passed away said!!!!(note the quote)!!!! oh I can smell the curry from the PA?? fish and chip shop(meaning a shot in the arm for me because she thought MY curry was equivilent to that shop)... that ALL people in this neck of the woods call that shop (even their own nationality too)........

you see what I mean when I stated above your attitude to race relations!! you are creating bias by your actions it may be where you live taboo? but its a part of life down here..... :rolleyes:

p.s SOL you have personally caused a lot of trouble since you came on here and are behind a lot of the problems............and backed by the one moderator too.....

no further comment by me!! to you thanks I don't want to waste my precious time..... :P
