:o Keeps ones breath clean though!! nothing worse than bad smells emanating from the mouth or from anywhere else for that matter …? I suppose? :lol:
 
It's not chewing the gum that's revolting. It's the mess made on our pavements - sometimes even inside buildings - by the mindless morons who spit it out with no thought of respect for other people's environment or for the poor lowly-paid sods who have to spend hours grafting away trying to remove it, all at our expense.
 
Actually I really dislike watching people chewing gum as well. Nothing worse than when they are interviewed chewing it.
 
I hate bad-driving, gum-chewing, intolerant tourists who give me uncracked pistachio nuts. Oh, and people who smell because they either don't wash, or don't wash their clothes enough. And people with halitosis who insist on leaning close and saying "HALLllo!" and nearly gassing me with their effluvia. People who pick their ears, noses, or teeth, and then minutely examine for any result - what do they expect to find?
 
People who don't know whether they're coming or going so they press both up and down buttons when calling a lift.
 
That's why you need this forum, AliG - why, I can't think of one stupid person on it. It is a veritable treasure trove of sparkling intelligence, reasoned objectivity, and rational debate.
