Personally i'd give Rachel the job

There is a dearth of top NH jockeys in the ROI and Britain atm and with Davy and Dickie coming to the end of their careers the Golden era is nearly over

Quite a few subjective observations for Townend on the forum - luck, skill, opposition , timing , confidence....... I dont know if it's my mind/memory playing tricks but the markets seem to be speaking by shortening Blackmore/Kennedy runners while easing Townends ?
