What are you backing Today? Part 2

The minute I saw Blue Betty was running I lumped on and I have no idea why...for some reason I knew she would be strongly fancied to win..Ii must have read or seen something while on one of the racing sites...or maybe Paddy Brennan mentioned her.

No idea but the money is down so fingers crossed

May well win but looks dreadful value to me at the current odds.

No logic in what you are saying She won hands and heels going way like a 1/3 shot

No logic in what I'm saying - really ?? Ha ha ha ha ...... value is everything , the mare was 5/6 chance at the time which was never value fto , the yard is going very well at the moment and it was no surprise to see Blue Betty as favourite, it was obvious to anybody that understands the game that she shouldn't be an odds on chance - hence why she drifted out to an SP of 7/4 ...... if you take under the odds then you will never stay ahead of the game. I have 44 years experience in the industry to know what I'm taking about.
As I said I'm glad she won, and I think she will win again before the season is through.

I occasionally have an interest on the racing from SA , this morning have had a small EW ( on recommendation from trusted contact ) on Vila Foz @33/1 in the 11.30 Fairview ..... fingers crossed for a good showing.

Dartmoor Pirate 3.07 Sandown tomorrow 17/2
Ran a very good race when 2nd at Wincanton last time out.
The stiffer track here should suit and although Paul Nicholls charge should be hard to beat their stable are not in top form.
Hopefully DP will be produced late and take it up on the run to the line.

There's several horses I know quite well running tomorrow.

Deep Cave (3.07) let me down at Cheltenham, but I thought the last day was an improvement. I was on the eventual winner Titan Discovery, but I saw this fella run really well. He tryed to make all, fading late on, so you'd think this distance tomorrow at Sandown will be perfect. I see him going very close.

The good Dr T J Eckleburg (2.00) may look outclassed, but he's been running quite well of late, and I'd just like to see more positive tactics tomorrow. He was held up too far back last time. I don't see him running well from behind tomorrow - certainly not against this class of opposition. He'll either be up with them running well early or absolutely blown away out the back. He's got a good cruising speed. I reckon they need to have him up there on the pace tomorrow making use of all that weight he receives.

The third horse over at Musselburgh, Traprain Law (2.50) has been frustrating to follow this season, although he does have a nice pull at the weights with my namesake Marble Sands for his first run of the season. He's dropped a few pounds in the handicap and it wasn't an awful run last time by any means against tough opponents.

I'll stick these in the Saturday afternoon each way yankee.

I thought Deep Cave's race tomorrow was over 2M6F for some reason, which would have been perfect. It's a bit further than that, so that tempers my enthusiasm a bit, but I'll stick with him anyway.
