Who Would You Like To Meet!

Thanks all.
On the subject of Trudi and meeting her the horse she was leading up that day (well one of them) won the last at Newton Abbott today. Think evening racing ends the day after my resit examination which should be interesting. No doubt I'll be well and truly exhausted by then but will be living for the real works night out that Saturday :)

If truth be told, I'd easily meet Garney, Gearoid, Maurice (again), Krizon, Ardross, simmo, Kathy (she is just misunderstood), BrianH, Steve Miller, Aidan, An Capall, Shadow Leader (we've argued for so long on here, it's impossible not to feel some sort of sympathetic affection for her :lol:), PDJ (just to kick his arse :D).

I'd also like to meet prince regent, he's one of the long term members who remains a mystery in my view and I'd like to meet Suny and give him the English dictionary I am holding for him.

I'd also like to meet Colin Phillips.

However, the person I'd like to meet more than anyone on here is Col (dvds2000), who has been the fairest and most friendly towards me of everyone since day 1.
 
In fairness Phil we did exchange messages when you were in exile and I'd be intigued to meet you. It wouldnt be boring thats for sure....
 
I agree, it wouldn't be boring in the least. As a precaution, I'd be bringing a deck of cards and plenty of drink.
 
Cards - Bloody hell was just playing on Prima Poker and had some bad luck against one guy. He bet all in and I called with JJ he caught 2-pair with 10 6o!! Then next hand his AK busts my 1010. Then of course I'm all in on the BB and his 72o beats my KJo !!!!!! WTF!

I've been too busy bombarding the BF forum soccer section for the past few months with my nine-inch nailed on footie tips (long story if you don't visit there) to get into poker.

I also realised that I'm crap at it.

I don't see why. After all, didn't you once tell someone you would try and find my home address (when you worked at NTL) so another forum member could visit me and do me in?
 
I remember that day Gearoid. You popped in with about 79 minutes on the clock, asking if you should lay off and I told you to do so as it is always better laying off and taking any profit.

They did come from behind that day and I did tell everyone to keep the faith!
 
To be honest, I did think about it at the time, but there isn't any way to PM over there.

Then I forgot.

It gets really hectic during those threads and the abuse is hilarious, but no one ever gets the better of me.

It is funny though, winding up all the so-called "pro gamblers"

None of the nailed-ons make a profit over time, so they do have a point, but I never allow them to make that point!
