No financial involvement in this race. But watched Labeeb finish third at a decent price on his debut at Kempton and surprised to see the result last night that he was beaten. Watched the replay this morning. Beaten a head the report said.

I have watched the video and I cannot see how he is beaten. I think he won a head, rather than lost. I am trying to freeze frame it on the line (as you know bob of heads etc) but I dont think Godophin's gets near winning this. Had I bet on this, I would be going up the walls, threatening to burn the place down etc.

Labeeb, first past the post, disqualified for interference.

Even that seems strange when you see some other results that are allowed to stand.

Thanks DO. Makes little sense as you say, but more sense than the photo being screwed up.

To think that my first impression was that photo was ballsed up ahead of any interference being the cause shows the state of stewards enquiries these days, and how much of an outlier that decision is.
