Well, today I decided to venture out and have my first pint since Cheltenhan. Put my face mask on and got the train into Liverpool city centre. Lovely walk along our awesome waterfront . Then time for that much needed pint! I`m one for the old-fashioned pubs of which Liverpool has plenty. So, into an old favourite for a pint of bitter. The barmaid tells me she needs my details for track and trace. Sure, no problem. Where do I put them? Just enter them on one of those she said and pointed to a bundle of William Hill betting slips heaped on the bar! So reassuring to know William Hill are doing their bit for our world-beating track and trace system. No need for these complicated smart phones or apps (whatever they are)….just use a betting slip!
