Third race and short prices don't really change things much. For the record Steve T, Walker, wilsonl, Ricko, Tout Seul and Sea Pigeon all had the winners for 12 points but Aragorn napped the second to score 14.

Halfway through the first day and jinnyj is leading Ricko by 1 point

Do I get points for 3rd and 4th placings in 7 runner races? I assumed so, but it may have been an inaccurate assumption.

Forget my question:

Points are scored for first to fourth places regardless of the number of runners and regardless of whether the race is a handicap or not. In the event of a dead heat both horses will be awarded the full points for the relevant finishing position.
