I like to think i can read people and the subtleties of interactions but I may be wrong. Would the lack of Your f$%^ing uncle smart arse ( it's getting me down already) golden nuggets with which he helps feed the needy be related to certain ungrateful hearts amongst us, not showing the correct amount of gratitude, love or appreciation for the endless efforts of your labour and the fruit that is does bear ?

Whilst it's a shame it's perfectly understandable, well at least to me anyway. There is a part of me that thinks the good Lord was looking down for a moment there thinking perhaps Davies deserves a set of wings after all.

P.S I'm down to my last tin of baked beans.

Not so much insufficient gratitude, love or appreciation - and tbh it's not even the outright users (not you) who, in terms of profitable long-term betting, take and never offer anything of value themselves.

It's when these characters start having a pop that I draw the line.

"Leafy" makes himself impossible to forget - not that I'd want to.

He particularly impressed me in the back streets of downtown Slough the Saturday night after Clarence House Chase Day at Ascot where, out of his cosy middle class Surrey comfort zone at "A Taste Of Karachi," he consumed his extremely spicy Beef Nihari like a man.

And he looks more like Vito Corleone every day - "Leafy" really is "The Godfather."

I don't really watch T.V and when i do i try to avoid adverts so you may have to elaborate. I think the last time i can remember watching adverts there was a J R Hartley selling yellow pages, some aliens made out of saucepans selling instant mashed potatoe and a man dressed all in black pulling off daring feats to deliver boxes of chocolates , and just for clarity, I'm none of the above.

I do hope you're not about to hurt my feelings Walsey as you're one of my favourites and I'm certainly not above punching a guy with cancer.

As previously stated, I don't worry when the System Bet and Manual Bets have losing days as they're proven long term.

Really pleased the AW Data Model seems to have turned a corner.

In other news, I've decided the slow cooker is the province of the socially-aspirational working class woman, of whom I've known far too many in my life.

Their idea of "makes really tasty meals" isn't aging middle-class boy here's idea of "really tasty meals" - "really tasteless meals that have been stewed to death" would be more like it.

The three ladies who urged me to get one some years ago are in the past now - they've probably moved onto air fryers and whatever the latest new kitchen gimmick is now.

Fortunately, the System Bet won more than the other two lost combined, so a winning day, but the AW Data Model fell back into annual loss again today and the clock is ticking as Lincoln Day, my chosen day of reckoning for it, gets nearer.

Small loss overall, but good to see the AW Data Model move back into overall profit (albeit tiny) on the year.

I wasn't far from having it off tonight and that's always a good sign.

Roll on, tomorrow - I hope Newbury and Warwick are on as I'm involved at both and the AW Data Model will be in action at Lingfield Park and Southwell.

January was hard for many punters, me too, but I did manage to register a 4% ROI by the end of it across all activity.

But I've given it back in February so far - FML.
