I haven't really got my 5 sorted yet..but what are the 5 races that make the game special to you?

My first 3 off top of my head are

Dancing Brave's Arc win
The 1977..i think ..templegate {Aintree} Hurdle race between Night Nurse + Monksfield
Mtoto's...Prince Of Wales win

Orchids gold cup I would always cite. I also loved that nutter zarkahnda's arc win. *

takiing of mtoto I was at that eclipse years ago and that was one awesome race

there are so many

* I love not remembering how to spell it, because it gets the ocds twitching )

Denman's 2nd Hennessey
Kauto's 5th King George
Hurricane Fly's 1st Champion Hurdle win
Frankel's Juddmonte
Spinter Sacre's Arkle

was on course for those last two

of all of them i think denman's hennessey is one i like to watch back the most. there's just something about it that makes the hairs on the neck stand up. i think it's holt's commentary.

that Eclipse really stands out to me..i was obsessed with Mtoto..and backed him heavily to beat Reference Point..me and mrs anorak went to Nottingham races that evening and we watched Mtoto win in the betting shop in town before we got the coach to Nottingham..we didn't have a car then with being poor northerners like..i had a right wad on me that night..well at least 200 quid:lol:

I enjoy threads like this
Mine are all relatively recent
Pour Moi 2011Derby
Tidal bay 2012 Lexus
Danedream King George
2011 Champion hurdle
Dawn Approach 2000 Gns

So many to mention.

That Tingle Creek
STS - Eclipse

Frankel - Champion Stakes. Much better than it looked.
All his races really. Royal Lodge was ridiculous.

Can't leave out Big Buck's toying with them. 4th World Hurdle

Brilliant ride in defeat. Was a tad worried when he made that move. Once Ruby clocked it and Buck's had her in sight. Game over.

That Templegate Hurdle, the dead heat between Monksfield and Night Nurse, and Monksfield's first win in the Champion Hurdle
The sprint races at Phoenix Park, especially the likes of Polonia and Committed
Teleprompter's visits to the same track
Just about any of Frankel's races, but maybe the 2000 Gns was the day he really announced himself
Best Mate's first visit to Leopardstown
Looks Like Trouble's round of jumping at Down Royal, which was the last time we saw him unfortunately
That Tingle Creek
Captain Christy's wins at Kempton
Any of those races involving any perm of Harchibald v Hardy Eustace v Brave Inca
Sea The Stars in the Arc
Kauto and Denman at Cheltenham
And and and...
