Triumph Hurdle 18 March 2022

Knight Salute, aside from giving Teddy Blue a good beating, was also giving the runner-up 5lbs. I think he’ll at least place in the TH.

Perfectly possible but let's not forget he has Moore's other horse Poticello to contend with. He could be a much better horse than Teddy Blue. Of course much depends on what else runs..our top trainers are not investing in the juvenile market and the Irish are buying all the cream..the front two look not pounds but stones ahead of the English..if the front 2 turn up the rest arr fighting for 1 place.

Knight Salute has already beaten Porticello; not by much, but it was off levels. Take your point about the Irish juveniles, but the tricast could look attractive on the day. Is Fil D’or the most vulnerable of the Irish, if we agree that Vauban and Pied Piper are so far ahead?

It certainly looks that way to me. I never saw any reason why Fil D'Or should reverse placings with Vauban

My own prefernece is for Pied Piper who Davy is sure to ride.
