It's a scary moment for both of us.

I'd imagine the entries will be made on Monday 20th December, I'll take a look and, if you're going, I'll DM you my card with the horses - and trainers and jockeys - to watch in my opinion.

It's a cracking viewing track, not too big a circuit and a great view from the top of the bank of the action on the track down below.

I think you'll enjoy it tbf.

Hats off to the committee at Horseheath PTP course for making a very quick decision to abandon this weekend’s meeting due to a lack of entries. They will certainly have incurred some costs already but imo they have reached the correct decision. I don’t know if it is possible but hope that they are able to rearrange a new date later this season.
 
Such a shame. I used to love going to Horseheath when I lived in Newmarket. Always excellent racing and the viewing is great.
 
Just in case anyone from here is interested.

The closing date was 1st December - I see it's now been pushed out a week. I would have applied but it would have meant sacrificing my other two roles within the sport both of which I'd rather do instead.

Good news Danny I am definitely going to Chaddesley 28/12/25 (followed by Horseheath 31/12/25) I am very confident that I have gently coerced Jinnyj to come as well ;) so we will have our own protection service on hand should it be needed but that is very unlikely as we are all nice people.

Much healthier entries this weekend.

West Mercia Area Races at Chaddesley Corbett 6 races with a total of 86 entries

Cornwall Race Club at Wadebridge 6 races with a total of 65 entries
 
Today on Pointing Pointers we have announced that we have secured Sponsorship of 3 races at the following Wincanton 25/02/26 booked and paid for, Hexham 13/04/26 secured in our name, Stratford Hunterchase Finals night Restricted Final secured in our name plus one more to follow very soon one close to all our hearts on PPF 😉
 
Danny at the moment I don’t know but Pointing Pointers ARE sponsoring The Restricted Final as we have done for the last 3 years 😎
