Both qualify as longshots, before any pedants pull us up.

That's a rick on Purest, this is his track and his race. But the 33s is gone, expecting 10s or less by Friday.

Worried about 5000, but that's the only danger.

My bad. I didn't realise the non-completion wouldn't have counted as a run. Just checked the result. Certainly reads like another day is pencilled in somewhere along the line.
