Matt Chapman is making a total fanny of himself today.
I never watched the BBC news but I just knew they would do that. They are absolute b&stards doing that in the last few years. I can say though that going back through the years since they lost Cheltenham they sort of celebrate the deaths of horses because they no longer cover itJust saw the BBC news reporting the deaths of 3 horses at Cheltenham -I thought the tone was one of moral superiority.
Colm Murray would have put a different spin on it.The coverage on ITN News was even worse, it seems:
ITN report on Cheltenham horse deaths criticised by racing’s rulers
BHA understood to be unhappy at failure to seek adequate comment, as well as replaying precise instances of deathswww.theguardian.com
Ruby actually wants to be a top class pundit -he brings his A game every time. With AP there is a sense of entitlement and a feeling that he is just going through the motions.McCoy is just awful..he permanently sounds like he doesn’t want to be there and it’s under sufference. Ruby is far superior.
Nobody told me, I backed the runner up!I do tend to listen to MF (just to annoy you) but APMcC often talks shite, as he did about Martator after the race.
The world and its auntie and uncle knew Marator was a massive improver yet he seemed genuinely shocked.
I made the same point last week after the Durkan-you can tell how much enjoyment the team get from top class racing.Came on to make this point about RTE coverage in comparison to others and I'm only #3 in the queue!
