Maybe it's a dip of the toe in the water to see what kind of viewing figures they get in order to gauge the wisdom of their aggressive apathy to racing.

Insulting towards AOB in his interview and trying to be clever in his dealings with the owner of Sweet William but ducking away from any comeback from her.

Maybe the heat is getting to him. Are the powers that be at ITV Racing afraid to chin him for his behaviour?

We're less than 10 minutes into the morning programme and the fanny is at it again, calling the Stewards' Cup non-runner Ferrous "Fe-roos".

Well never ever thought I’d say this but Rishi is excellent on the US coverage I’m getting via Betfair. Incredibly confident and knowledgeable. Like he’s really come of age.
