King George Vl chase

Wonder whether he rocks up in the Grand Annual.

I don't think Nicholls bothers too much with the Grand Annual. Too many bandits.

Better targeting a valuable handicap at somewhere like Wincanton or Ayr or maybe Ascot/Sandown in which others are prepping for Cheltenham and Aintree.

Yes, I have.

I imagined that, in this 4 runner field, with a horse that is jumping very nicely with just a third of the race gone, that he jockey might do a little more than drop his hands with two thirds of the race remaining.

What I didn't imagine was that they would be preparing him so early for handicap chasing.

Anything else, you totally wasted your money so U blame the jockey saying he was a non trier....pub talk

That's a possible route but he's got to get over a very bad run and that takes time. Talk of Cheltenham is a huge no no. I'd aim him at a track like wincanton as you suggest...giving weight to rags is more his forte imo

Just saying that was 2 days of really enjoyable racing even if it wasn't profitable for yours truly. Sir Gino looks like another superstar doesn't he incredible in the fighting 5th and even better here. Really like the look of him. People talking about that Rubaud being a non jigger have had too much Christmas plonk I think. He was just completely out of his depth. Can't really comment on Chepstow as couldn't see most of it was just gutted the Jubilee Express couldn't get up but a great result for a small yard and connections to have landed that.

Rubaud needs decent ground so the 2m handicap on Scottish National day would seem to me a suitable target. He’s won at Ayr in the past

What’s the difference between losing and ‘totally losing’?
Listen , my friend, I put pennies on a horse I thought might have an outside chance. I’m not weeping over it but one of the reasons I watch races is to assess future chances.
If you think me pointing out this absolute non trying is ‘pub talk’, you need your eyes tested and a check-up from the neck up. Now, off you pop.

Yes, it’s me saying he was a non-trier. That doesn’t mean that they stopped him winning so less talk of Christmas plonk. Please.
For the future I will regard his run here, certainly before falling, was disguised with a mind to his future handicap mark.

One of Nicholls I can't understand is Sans bruit looked for all the world like he wanted stepping up to 3 mile last time he ran and then he's dropped him back to 2 mile here and byrony has blew his brains out trying to lay it down to a horse going miles too quick by the time she realised and took a grip I think he'd popped a lung.

It's nearly 8pm the day before the Savills Chase and not even one post about it.

I guess we're busy.

Inothewayyourthinkin, there must be an each way angle In there somewhere!!

For me it's a 2 horse race and I think Fact to file is going to be the best 3 miler we've seen since Kauto. Gallopins a great horse but I think tomorrow sees the arrival of the new champ.

We'll see tomorrow Maurice and I don't think Lossiemouth is over rated either I don't think we saw the best of her by a long way yesterday. Not that I think we saw the best of Constitution Hill. But Lossiemouth will turn out to be a lot better than what she showed yesterday of that I'm sure.
