Amateur Jockey Races Thread

Lets add Freddie Robson to this thread. Grandson of the legendary Olympic Three Day Event rider, Ian Stark he (according to Alice) has mopped up in Pony Races and will be pointing and riding in amateur races this season.
Freddie Robson has had three rides in Points for Tim Vaughan, a ride in a Bumper under Rules for Tim Vaughan and a ride on the Flat for J Candlish.

Duh! completely forgot this. And I did mean to watch it too. Pleased he won though. I saw him win at Chadds but it was at Larkhill that he impressed me. He was set for second coming over the second last but really got stuck into his mount and got a great response. OK the fav came down at the last but for a lad who's only just starting his career, he really got down into and behind the horse and got it rolling. That is a rare thing to see especially on such a relatively inexperienced rider. I got the "wow" moment as I watched him.
