Freddie Robson has had three rides in Points for Tim Vaughan, a ride in a Bumper under Rules for Tim Vaughan and a ride on the Flat for J Candlish.Lets add Freddie Robson to this thread. 1 from 1 now.He rides Queen Of Steel ( 7/1) for Fergal O'Brien in tomorrow's 4:02 race at Leicester which is a hands and heels mares' handicap hurdle for amateurs and conditional jockeys. Looks like it's his first NH ride.
His ride on The Nagger Reidy at Leopardstown was extraordinary. Very much along the lines of McCoy’s famous Festival win on Wichita Lineman.Maybe not an amateur, but over in Ireland Micheal Kennally seems to be making himself heard. Looks like full value for his 7, but the bookies seem to have cottoned on already. I wonder whether he'll get some nice handicap rides at the festival.
Mr P W Mullins pencilled in for Stattler at Fakenham on FridayMight be off the mark here, but can see Patrick Mullins reuniting with Stattler in the Foxhunters' / Hunter Chase this year. Needs another run to qualify, but is being booked in for Hunters' Chases in the next few days. Looked revived last time. 25/1 seems good to me.
