    Prix du Jockey Club

Really messy race. Loads of horses didn't get a clear run.

    frankel v camelot

Both horses are entered for the Eclipse but unfortunately neither will turn up. Camelot will go to the Irish Derby for a walkover against a few of his stablemates and Frankel won't run as it looks like he will be aimed at the Sussex Stakes or the International. The International would be a...

    Epsom Derby 2012

Yeah, I didn't think about the Champion Stakes. I just hope that if Frankel does move up to 1m 2f that we actually get the chance to see the two meet at some point.

    Epsom Derby 2012

I'd rather see Camelot take on Frankel over 1m 2f than see him beat a bunch of Group 2/3 horses over 1m 6f.

    Epsom Derby 2012

Hope he races against Frankel over 1m 2f at some point this season. A match up in the Eclipse would be exciting. Can't see it happening though unfortunately.

    Black Caviar

I just can't see any of the sprinters over here being good enough to giver her a race. I hope I'm wrong but I think she'll win easily. One things for sure I'll be watching the race on Attheraces with either Simon Holt or Richard Hoiles commentating. I dread to think how overly patriotic Jim...

Who's the best actual jumper of a fence you've seen?

Remittance Man is the best I've seen. Desert Orchid, Edredon Bleu & Master Minded are others that spring to mind. Sprinter Sacre has looked pretty special over fences this season as well.:)

    Novice Chasers 2011-12

Glad you've enjoyed the video's. :) Remittance Man is one of my favourite ever racehorses so I always take any opportunity to remind people how good he was! By the way, I've been hugely impressed with Sprinter Sacre as well. I think he's the most exciting novice chaser seen since Azertyuiop.

    Novice Chasers 2011-12

To make a comment like this you must have either never seen Remittance Man race or your grossly underrating him. One of the best 2m chasers of the past 20 years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTm0agIqrQY

Looks like the best novice chaser Nicky Henderson has had since Remittance Man.

    Betfair Chase

Desert Orchid won the race as an 11 year old so I don't see why Kauto Star couldn't do the same after his performance today. I wonder if they'll still run Master Minded along with KS.

    Old racing on You Tube

He was a fabulous racehorse and a fantastic jumper. I made this video up of him for youtube a while back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTm0agIqrQY&feature=channel_video_title Also, I've just uploaded the 2005 Celebration Chase that Well Chief won...

    Top 10 Countdowns

 Yeah, forgot all about Top Cees. Then again, if I had included him I would have had to include Trainglot as well because he also achieved the Illustrious Ces/Coral cup double! I only had room for 10 so unfortunately those two superstars both missed the cut!

    Top 10 Countdowns

Well, agreeing with nearly all the rankings is good enough for me! When I finished all of the lists, the only decisions that I felt I definitely got right were - Dayjur as no.1 European sprinter, Dubai millenium as best Prince of Wales's winner and Yeats as best stayer. Couldn't really see...

    Top 10 Countdowns

A couple of weeks ago I uploaded these top lists that I made up for youtube. There's a lot of races featured that many of you probably haven't seen for quite a while so I thaught I'd link them here. I got into racing in 1989 so all the countdowns only feature races from then onwards. I'm sure...

It's going to be a fascinating race. Shame Tom Durkin isn't calling it.

    King George (Ascot)

Generous won the race in a similar fashion back in 1991 as well.
