    Cambridgeshire

In the past 5 years the lowest rated horse in the Cambridgeshire has been (reading from 2012-2008) 90/87/86/86/90.

    Johnny Murtagh/Aga Khan

Shane Foley would get my vote for this post. Excellent rider.

    Seven Pound Claimers......

Been very impressed by Ben Dalton over in Ireland in recent weeks. Looks cracking value for 7 lb.

    Novice Chasers 2011-12

Changing tack a bit I thought Hidden Cyclone looked good yesterday. Would love to see him aimed at the RSA this term.

    Seven Pound Claimers......

Think we can add Ray Dawson to the list of promising 7 lb claimers after his exploits on Formal Bid in last few days. Certainly not lacking for strength in a finish.

    Unexposed types to watch.

Just going through Navan races and thought Scoot My Friend shaped well with a view to handicaps at 10f+. Virtually last entering the straight before putting in some good late work. Bred to be a middle-distance performer as well

    Seven Pound Claimers......

S H James and C Hoban are a couple in Ireland who look good value for 7 lb.

    Unexposed types to watch.

Moscow Storm caught the eye again at Thurles today and could be of interest when switched to handicaps at 20f+

    Supreme Novices Hurdle

Any mileage in sticking headgear on Zaidpour? Seemed to work on Zaynar initially. Hard to believe that lack of speed, or even some slightly untidy jumping, was the reason for him being off the bridle so far out yesterday when i think back to the Royal Bond. Can't remember many from that yard...

    Novice Chasers 2010/11

Uncle Tom Cobley caught my eye in race won by Saludos today. I've not seen a head on yet but he didn't look to be given a hard time from 3 out and everything points to him being a better chaser than hurdler (pedigree/physique etc). Wouldn't be surprised if he made up into a graded-class...

    Curragh Today

Agreed. Prob not far off level required already and has more to come. Looks like she'll need to be supplemented for that race according to RP site, though, Gal.

    irish horses in the hcps

Agreed, track and trip sure to suit, whilst he's got a cracking attitude as well. I've got slight doubts about his jumping for a race like the Coral Cup, though. He wasn't particularly slick at a few when winning at Punchestown. Mourad is the one of the Irish contingent that catches my eye as...

    Novice Chasers 2009/10

There's got to be a chance Cousin Vinny will go back over hurdles after that display. ITC mark of 150 and he's totally unexposed at two and a half miles plus. Maybe even the Coral Cup could be a possibility.

    Leopardstown Christmas Festival

Looking forward to seeing how Sports Line gets on against some potential top-notchers in that Grade 1 novice. Also, will be interesting to see what Willie has planned for Beroni and Our Monty. I presume both aren't Chepstow bound looking at their multiple entries.

Middle Park & Cheveley Park Stakes Group 1

Didn't something like a bruised foot or injured hock (i can't remember where i read that but i'm sure i did) come to light to explain Alfred Nobel's run in the National Stakes? He certainly gave the impression that all wasn't well with him that day the way he hung across the track before weakening.

    Curragh Sunday

Promising start by James Ryan, who has done well with Perfect Polly and Qeyaada in the same silks. Can anyone give me some background info on this guy please?
