    Money for jumps

I can usually get between 100-300 on the exchanges at desired price. My 4th family member currently holds several highstreet accounts that aren't yet limited ;)

    Money for jumps

With the new National Hunt season on the horizon I am going to post my selections for the season on this thread. I had an incredible run last year (albeit with an awful Cheltenham) and have continued to make small change over the summer on the scraps available. Strike rate last year was 26%...

What are you backing Today? Part 2

Last @ Bangor Only three horses in this race are comfortable over 3 mile with 2 of them short odds. The exception is Imperial Merlin available at 11/2 despite finding only one too good lto off the same mark finishing with Ile De Jersey just behind him who's form reads 2-3-1-1 over jumps. Looks...

On City Derby 8/1 (2.55), Caughtinyourtrance 4/1 (3.30) and Charlie Uberalles 15/2 (4.05) at Carmel today. Will add Breizh River (4.43) if he goes north of 19/1 SP

Nevendon looks a bit too big at 11/1 in the first at Worcs 4.50 Won fist time over fences last October and was sent off at 15/8 following up in a class 4 and came 2nd. A couple of mediocre runs since has seen his rating fall and drops back into class 5 company off a reasonable mark.

If a 100/1 shot is ever going to go in it would surely be from a source like Tamar Bridge (Perth 5.05). Doesn't look like this trainers ever had a winner but a horse who's hurdle record is 4 in 9, has won this year and placed in a class 2 in October all contribute to making this price seem...

    Galway Festival 2025

Big price available for Zenta 28/1 in the plate later. Looks likes they've kept her on a low mark to giver her a decent crack at this.

The 2025 King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes

Looking at rule 157 posted above by @barjon I can't work out how it could be deemed legitimate. It baffles me that connections of the horses effected by these kinds of schemes don't kick up more of a fuss. Especially with the prize pot on offer.

The 2025 King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes

It seemed pretty obvious to me that the plan was for JB to get infront on the rail and Continuous to sit on his shoulder and make the others take the long way around which is exactly what happened. Continuous was clearly held up early for this purpose and was ran purely as an obstacle.

The 2025 King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes

Yea it's a bit of a mystery. I could kind of understand an argument that a genuine pacemaker could hit the front and hold the lead across the line but using another horse to shield another horse from challengers is.l bang out of order in my book. Should be looked at.

The 2025 King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes

Not sure how using Continuous as a roadblock is within the rules. Clearly instructed to sit on shoulder of JB throughout with no intention of trying to compete for the win in its own right. Isn't that usually called a non trier?

The 2025 King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes

Stud money often prevents owners from running the best horses against each other so I'm all for geldings mixing it up. All the coolmare pair achieved was trapping RR handing it to Calandagan on a plate.

Been out on the track this morning. Ground is very firm grandstand side which sees most of the shade.

Cracking NH cards today. The prices in the big one look fairly sound but have found a handful that seem decent value. Mkt Rsn 2.40 Goblet Of Fire 6/1 3.50 Clean Getaway 28/1 5.00 Fame And Fun 6/1 Cartmel 2.50 Miss Maverick 4/1 4.00 Cuzco Du Mathan 6/1 4.35 Ballydangan 12/1

Persuaded myself into a couple of punts @ Uttoxeter. 3.38 Salley Gardens 22/1 - Pulled up LTO when on debut for new yard but the form in spring makes 22/1 attractive. 4.08 Light Dragoon 11/2 - On the face of it 10 lbs rise LTO was too much but could have coincided with a below par effort. Back...

What are you backing Today? Part 2

Superb match up between the top two weights in the 3:08 at Perth. There's no value in Luckie Seven at 7/4 but I think he'll come out on top and race should be a great spectacle. Next up in the 3.43 the market looks too heavily skewed toward the favourite. This would be a walkover for Breizh...
