That's wrong I copied and pasted that and it came up as 2 ? marks....same as a smiley but very faint and no colour is how they appear to me and you hardly notice them

I have vague memories of Captain Christy winning a chase at Naas or Navan after pulling up in 75 Gold Cup before running second in Whitbread Gold Cup behind April the Seventh; it was retrospectively spotted in Irish Field in 76 so timing may not be 100% accurate.

though ground was testing he had no real excuse and I am afraid to say but Giggi may not have as many horses at Tu Va stables as heretofore.

I also remember Monksfield winning a Naas apprentice handicap three years in a row (1976 -78) ridden by Mick Kinane that came after Champion Hurdle and Aintree ! Imagine Annie P , Faugheen or even The Fly trying that !

The stewards requested a report from the trainers representative regarding the improvement shown by Smashing compared to his last race which was the Ryanair.These people live on a different planet.
 
That is a laugh in real terms he's improved 5lbs or so.

An amount horses can run to one day and run below the next day

eg change in going, an opponent whacks a fence , sometime it's the way the cookie crumbles.

Just Stewards justifying their existence I suppose
 
Smad Place simply isn't good enough to win a GC. If he'd been held up he'd have been left behind just like the KG
