A lot like his only conqueror over fences, Bostons Angel, he wins ugly so people don't fancy him. The ground was the one factor today and that was the punt really...

MM travelled like a dream, won very easily, stayed well.

Somersby looked to travel 2nd best - outpaced.

AR off bridle v v early but stayed on incredibly well.

Albertas Run was under pressure from some way out, but still had the guts to beat everything else in the field. Puts Master Minded's performance in even greater context.

I have had two monster wins on Master Minded. His first CC and now this.

Had a medium sized bet on this morning. Dialled off a conference call early to leg it down to the bookies to double my bet.

I am absolutely pumped up. This and Wishfull Thinking make it an absolutely brilliant week so far.

Tranquil Sea was going okay turning for home, but he had made a couple of minor jumping mistakes. He went out like a light, though. He was beaten around 50 lengths, and only beat Made in Taipan home.
