Edit - I've just seen Hunter's Yarn's price now. 40/1!!!!!!!

Has he lost a couple of legs on the way over?

It won't deter me though. I'm just thankful I didn't dive in the other day.

I'm wondering the same thing about my Dr TJ Eckleburg later.

Having backed him ante post, the only thing that could get any worse is if they yanked him out altogether. 🤣

I'd say it will ride quicker than I originally expected - pretty much Good jumping ground, maybe a bit on the dead side after all the irrigation.

Manifesto

Impaire Et Passe was the best of them over hurdles but so far hasn’t really convinced as a chaser, his jumping tended to deteriorate towards the end of his races. He hacked up in a good Sun Alliance at Cheltenham last year and coped well with dry ground at Sandown. If he can improve his jumping he’d be the one to beat.

Hardly put a foot wrong so his class prevailed.

He jumped to the right a few times, I wonder of they'll target the KG? Likely the John Durkan.

Terrible bet on Rubaud - big prices in graded races I've never done well with (unless long range AP) silly.

Nice from Lossie there and a cracking run from Wodhood.

C Hill - i'm thinking these new hurdles are the problem. He just jumps too big and in the old days the hurdles were more forgiving. These aren't and when he clips them, he comes down.

Say what you will about CH but if it could only beat Wodhooh two lengths you'd be seriously entitled to crab it.

I can't help but think it would have won a mile.

I didn't want to blame Nico last time but I now have to wonder.

I'm not sure how you can say that with any confidence

He could have won ( they do have to complete) but would have been small margins with questionable form

This is actually the third time in a row he's put in a bad jump as during his win in the Cleeve he jumped bad aswell, but didn't fall.

He's clearly gome backwards, between end of 2023 and this season, even though looking at Kempton on Boxing Day, some of the rough diamond is still there. He also had that wind surgery in May, but it hasn't helped.

Make no bones about it a fraction here or there and he might not have even got up today.

I couldn't blame Nico or the hurdles myself.

The last thing I would do now is send him to Punchestown.

I was coming on to say the same thing.

He's clearly regressed between end of 2023 and this season, he also had that wind surgery in May and it obviously hasn't helped.

I'm not convinced there is any concrete evidence that he has regressed an inch. I got the impression from Willie's post-race interview a moment ago that he expected CH to run away from them too.
