Ante-Post Punting Plans/Propositions Thread.

Lulamba wins the Triumph for me after that. Slick jumping and travelled. Presume will be v short now.

I was just having a quick glance through the Cheltenham card is it just me or are there 2 Lossiemouth's one for Mullins and one for Polly grundy both declared for Saturday. I can't say as I've ever seen that before 2 horses with identical names on the same card???

Great Yorkshire chase. Erne River is one I'm looking at here.
A bit concerning there is 3 Pu in his last 5 outings, but he runs this course well.
Beaten only just over 5 lengths in this last year, he's 6lb lower this time around.
In fact there is an 18lb swing in weights with last years runner up Forward Plan.
Wherever he finishes, Erne River ought to be in front of him.
25/1, at present.

I've always believed that Lecky Watson was the Darwin Nunez of novice hurdling - chaotic but talented. I was lucky enough to spend some time with his owner for dinner at the Queens (cf Grey) before he finished 5th in the AB last year, running another crazy race. I backed him that night at 50s for the Brown Adv 2025. He still runs like a nut job, but hope is beginning to tingle.

The current racecards are boring me to death, so I had myself a small ante post treble at 3.33 for later this month.Constitutio Hill Marjborough and Galloping Des Champ...just to keep the interest up

I got a decent price on Constitution Hill...I added another Short price Treble with the Mullins pair and Qual De Bourbon 1/1.. combined it's only a couple of hundred quid return but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick...but something sure to go wrong😋as usual with ante post

To be honest I can't understand East India Rock being 4/6 I would have him 4/9 the way he won last time...he looked a top class prospect...hopefully I am right...g/l Viking

That evens Eat India Rock...what were the bookies thinking...I filled my boots at 1.67 with Bet365 and when I logged on he was 1.44...pissed up as expected

Profit at 25s, so happy enough with that.

Well done Viking..I backed stage star ew at 8/1 thought I had ya for a minute🤑
Yes I didn’t think LHP was going to get there but in Charlie we trust.
It couldn’t go wrong after that could it but Constitution Hill gave me a fright at the last 🫣

East India Rock hás been cut from 6/1 to 3/1 As good for the Triumph Hurdle. Of he were to jump the last with Lulambau cash would be on him up that hill...he absolutely flew up it today as he did the last time

7/2 about East India Dock with Bet365 looks a great price given his Cheltenham experience - all the more so as they’ve boosted potential winnings by 25%

I won plenty off him today so I may or may not back him for the Triumph. My first concern is 2 trebles I have running on to Majborough and De Champs next Saturday and of course Constitution Hill in the Champion Hurdle....if he does win the Champion Hurdle I might buy East India Dock😀😀😀😀👍

Denman Chase at Newbury this coming Saturday . Best odds:
2/1 BMG
3/1 Djelo
5/1 Hitman

Have you ever seen a front of a market look so wishy washy. BMG might be as GATG as his trainer, Djelo is a doubtful stayer and likely prefers a right handed track and Hitman is Hitman (not since Killer Instinct has there been a more inappropriately named horse).

7/1 Le Patron and Ga Law
8/1 Fugitif.

I'm contemplating backing Le Patron just not convinced he'll stay.
