Arse Cup

My main issue with Cheltenham was people not focussing on the winners enough - I can understand it a little about Kauto but only for a brief moment to show he is okay - aside from that it should be IC all the way.

Well done to Twiston-Davies - top trainer, and he has done so, so well with Khyber Kim and IC.

Don't be too hard on yourself DO. You said that a placed horse from last year who had been written off after some poor performances this season would win. You were right! :D

Ruby Walsh

Absolutely. It was a disgrace that he got back on Kauto Star and cantered him back in - I hope Nicholls rips his bollocks off for that. Christ almighty, he's already fractured a leg on the horse once before doing the same, how difficult is it for it to sink into his thick head?

Somebody please tell Spencer the horse is called Brav'o' Echo, how many times does she have to get its' name wrong.

Just watching Broony's preview of the 2.40 at Kelso and it appears his latest talent is that of horse whisperer. 'I've just a quick word here with Bene Lad'!

Apparently he "doesn't like walking" I was told the other day by one of the doctors on duty. When he came off on the first day, he set out on foot but spotted a quadbike used by the course staff. Walked over to it, demanded the keys and was just about to set off when another doctor told him that as he hadn't been cleared to ride, he wasn't cleared to drive either, so had better head off back to the Weighing Room. Not a happy bunny.

DJ - and what did BENE LAD report? Broony: "Well, there, laddie, and hoo do ye fancy yer chances, mon? Any good?" BL: "Neigh, neigh!" (Sorry - still defrosting from Plumpton's icy blasts and a bit heat-happy.)

I would pay really good money to see Shadz take The Rube on if one of hers got that treatment! Wowee - never mind security! Call for the SAS to pull her off!

Ruby did get called in by the Stewards when he remounted at Cheltenham a day or two after the rule was put into place. His face was a picture as he passed me on the horsewalk, he had a very knowing smile on his face (almost a smirk), so I guess that he doesn't agree with the rule - (I've just shortened Shadow's odds on a match :D).

And he was doing what I have been told is called 'skiiing', which in a lot of quarters is equally frowned upon. He did not look clever at all.
