Racing Post are doing their stable tour tomorrow for the O'Brien yard and in today's paper there is a quote from O'Brien about a two year old saying:

"You've probably heard about this colt - the birds around here are singing about him"

The only two year old I have heard about so far is Beethoven who I think is due to run at Newmarket next weekend. Interesting to see who it is.
 
Not sure I like HMS Victory either but I take it's got a connection to Horatio Nelson/Kitty Matcham? History never was my strong point
 
Yep, it was Nelson's ship at Trafalgar. It's nice that they've kept with the theme after HN's unfortunate demise.
 
Really interesting reading Galileo.
I went through the pedigrees of all of them yesterday.

My bet for that remark is Famous.

I was surprised they don´t have any Dalakhanis there, specially fillies, who would eventually cross very well with their Galileo/Montjeu sireline as broodmares.

I was looking at that thread the other day...and you did Bar! Fair play.

From the RP today.. O'Brien mentions Steinbeck as the horse everyone is talking about. And also mentions HMS Victory, Sydney Harbour, Beethoven, Famous and Lillie Langtry positively.

Okay.

So the prize is €50 (or £40) to a charity of your choosing. All you need to do is to pick the horse above who will end the season with the highest RPR on 1st November.

Somebody remind me to post the results in the autumn.
