They don’t have 2006, boooo. ( I did originally say 2013 though - thank you so much for trying !!)

My quest continues. I’ve got the last fence and run in on a YouTube video, but that’s all I’ve managed to find so far.
 
I recommend that we initiate a third 'topic' strand to accommodate threads such as this - ie - start as racing topics and end up as general chat - and vis-a-vis, of course.

We could call it 'Chat Gee Gee Gee.'

( for the record - and I’ve got more reason than most to be annoyed with T, I’m not sure what he did this time was necessarily deserving of such a “harsh” suspension - but given that nothing at all happened when he was ripping into me so much, I like to think of this more as karma. )

I’m still trying to find the 2006 Grand Military recording if anyone has any ideas - don’t want to buy it from Racenet ( or whoever it is these days) unless I have to - just want it saved to my phone to watch when I’m feeling nostalgic!!

Bet I’ve got it on VHS somewhere but it would mean going through a lot of boxes full of recordings!
 
This thread is definitely more Chit Chat than anything in Chit Chat - and that's coming from a Chit Chat devotee who has tried to steer this thread back onto racing SIX times! 😂

Not that I mind - it's all harmless enough.

Shame the EIGHT Saturday race threads I started aren't getting the same traffic, though, here in GENERAL RACING TOPICS! 😂

Not harsh, I just seen it all before. It is up to forumites to recognise that soon only probably 3 or 4 people will post here, then they will cry the forum is dead. Just due to one individual.

No skin off my nose, just trying to warn you what is coming. Speaking personally, the guy bores my arse off, but that is just me, I probably bore most folks arses off. Difference is, I don't post like an obsessed narcissist posting pointless posts daily trying to make myself look like some smart arse pretentious type, which is how Mr Davies comes across to me, maybe I am being unfair. If folk like his game then fair stuff, will leave it with you. Not for me tbh. Good luck with him
 
Just as an add, why did you get banned from TRF Ian? Bear in mind I have been barred from there and here in the past too. I like TRF, always have, some great guys on there as there are on here, We used to have some great competitions on here with them, would be good to fire those up again too. Could you talk in words that don't take 10 to replace one?

EC at your best you were one of the best contributors I've ever seen on a racing forum and easily amongst the best punters, the real deal. Also always willing to help anybody who wanted to learn. I know you've had your troubles with one thing and another but your kind are sorely missed on racing forums. I miss those days tbh and some of the guys off all the forums from down the years. I wonder what the likes of Col and Roger would think of this place if they could see it now.

I'm an arsehole sometimes as most on here know, but I gave more than I ever took from the forum. Tanlic is an arsehole like me, he has strong views and puts them blunter than most. His posts are still the ones I read first, along with Reet Hard's. Both those guys are still what makes the forum really good, strong opinions, whether you agree or not with them. I would also ask the mod if he would reduce Tanlics ban to just a week. TH needs him.
 
EC if you don't mind me asking you the same thing as when I first came across your posts back on Ohr your posts were brilliant you were a proper nice guy and always helpful. At somepoint I came across your late night rants and deletions of posts and things and thought it couldn't of been the same guy. When I hear you saying you got banned from forums it just strikes me as such a shame. I sort of remember you might get frustrated that more people couldn't match your efforts and you really wanted the forums to be better than they were. And they could've been a lot better with more of a collective effort.

Was it just the booze that set you off. Sorry if it's a bit personal but it all just never added up to me as I'd only known you and such a nice and helpful guy.

As it goes I never really agree with banning anyone from forums unless it's something very serious.
