bold ring

Hasn't won for over 14 months bold ring but the ability is definitely there as shown in august third to classic falcon on turf at windsor lots of 70 runners in behind.Bold rings 7yr old now she has won 5/43 on the aw has slipped down to lowest aw mark since october 2010 when winning back to back races,She caught my eye in july when looked a non trier off 58,a bit like kames park the jockey bookings will look more interesting in future as joey haynes has been riding who is average at best especially for riding a bit of a rogue as bold ring.I shall probably back her blind off this mark as she will be decent prices!!

Off same mark as when i put it up originally, lovely drift benny couldn't back it at 4s ;)

premium,excellent puck,guising

Out of the blue this time and the quickest maiden of the year the second had looked exposed and will be off a very generous mark on previous form, the winner premium probably won't be any value but will undoubtedly be running early season on the turf. And the eyecatching third guising 4yr old on debut carrying massive weight and plenty of improvement to come, the race was over a second quicker than the handicap won by chookie royale winning off 82 later on the card.Should be some nice value with the second in handicap and worth following guising after this debut run!!

Premium and Excellent Puck both go at Chester tomorrow. Both have bad draws. I have backed them anyway.

Amenable finally gets a go at Southwell tomorrow, outrageously well handicapped. Disappointingly Bet365 appear to have worked this out and only go 8-1.

Lots of guesswork with those 3yr old races i won't be betting in them now raised in class hope they win now you've backed them though. The violet jordan horses i'm surprised all 3 are so short giving nothing away especially as she's had virtually no winnners.Pretty sure amenable will be a big gamble if the prices are bigger tomorrow, probably shouldv'e kept it off the thread about returning to swell.Thats why i havn't been mentioning some of these to follows the night before, lots of them have drifted the following day recently and won at decent prices AFTER BEING TO SHORT THE NIGHT BEFORE good example today.;)Best to keep it that way as well, all the infos on here just a matter of keeping track.

Annecdote,Fleeting smile,Ghanian,Supernova heights

These four look well in looking at the 21 runner class 2 handiicap for older horses only .38 slower than that race but the winner of that racw was only running off 8-5 winning off 87.The first four home in the 2yr old race all beating the second in the 21 horse older handicap, the winner will still be able to run in handicaps for horses rated up to 85.The third horse looks ridiculously well handicapped ghanian only rated 75 and will be massively overpriced if running in a race for horses only rated up to that mark. Two other runners further behind need you now in 6th came out and won a listed race at 33s and the 7th also ran respectably in a listed race on next run 6th of 16 at newmarket.

1pt trade annecdote 7/1 lads

Annecdote makes seasonal debut the forms already been franked by fleetibg smile, bit more speculative tomorrow as differentb trip and the ground could be changed by tomorrow. Also portmans had no winners of late but will still be following regardless of tomorrows result, plus there are a couple in there unexposed, ribbons sister to soviet song.Under those conditions last season over the trip annecdote still looks well handicapped at least in these handicaps.

8/1 ppower.

Nice trade out at 5.6.

7/1 sky, boyles, bet lads betting will be interesting as trainers out of form, won't be any damage done if no show tomorrow as the time and form from last season is undisputable and will only be even better value in future.

Generalyse, quasi congaree and sole danser all contest the same race at Goodwood tomw. Any thoughts Andy? Tempted by sole danser at 6-1 with victor.

Sole danser was really for the aw benny, never considered backing it on turf that was the main reason for backing it as it was gettibng priced up on its turf form but looked an 80+ horse on the aw.Been disappointing the last twice on the aw so i was just hoping to see it in a decent handicap on the aw at big prices.I won't be backing it tomorrow doesn't mean it can't win i just thought the race looked wide open,i might back one of the others later on in the afternoon if i can figure out what the going is.
I probably won't be doing anything friday or saturday 6 meetings each day, can't do justice on all that lot and will only end up missing winners so will spend the afternoons just watching, unless there's something glaringly obvious.

Wish i had the time to get some placepots together been some great divis lately just to much racing to even consider doing them unfortunately.

mappin time,dark castle,bonnie charlie

Mappin time was the most glaringly obvious in this race as was left at the start giving away ground, travellled as well as anything to be hampered a furlong ot but still finished full of running and would undoubtedly been placed at worst. Now down to last winning mark and a preference for decent ground should be a decent price ion one of these handicaps. The other to a lesser extent was dark castle, similarly losing quite a bit of ground at the start switched a couple of times not convinced was trying to get involved at the finish midway through the race.Dark castles getting down near the 75 mark so could be massively undersetimated pricewise only 4 lifetime runs on turf currently off 78,never finished in the first 9 on turf so could be some huge prices floating around.
The last one bonnie charlie not quite sure to make of this run was ridden along early, look to come there travelling strongly then ted durcan looked to stop riding hard to be 100% as he may have been stopped in run.Looked like he gave up when thought his chance had gone, bonnie charlie currently off 78 has only won once since 2008 but nicholls had a bad seasson in 2012.Obviously would be wanting big prices with that only win in 5 seasons but that run looked encouraging.

A farce the race contested by annecdote more than 4.5 seconds slower than standard not only was the grouind not gd/fm they went no pace and the race ended up over a second slower than the maiden on the card.Generalyze and beat route ran ok never had another bet today after seeing the times at the track.

The first race this season where the 2yr olds have run quicker than older horses this race .02 quicker than aye aye digby winning off 74.This form could get very underestimated as the winner had already been beaten at newbury yet won with some ease in this race i can't see the newbury race being that much better than this form of the winner and runner up.The runner up although beaten by 2 3/4ls was never ridden to win the race, given nice introduction and looks far better than this form.Even though hannon and johnstion trained they may just get overlooked as the winner had been beaten previously. They are probably worth following short term.

Still recovering from Annecdote - travelling like the winner two out.

A few off the to follows tomorrow, Snooky at Ripon probably the pick, 9-2 looks fair. Ted's Brother is tempting but not convinced he wants a mile, and Al khan probably outclassed at Chester.

A second slower than the maiden race complete farce that race, plus the the race was slow by 4.5 seconds going was supposedly gd/fm,i was out at 5.6 shouldv'e taken the profit. They're watering the tracks then getting rain and its just changing the going constantly, sio it makes it impossible to do anyform, thats why i'm not doing anything over the next two days 6 meetings almost guaranteed they won't be the fcast gd/fm.I might pick out a couple of races tomorrow to have a look at fopr saturday but i won't be doing much in advance of racing not worth the time and effort. My conclusion is it would be better if it was constantly soft ground, the chances of ever having decent ground at anytime of the year just seems remote.

Nice drift on teds brother;)dire race be interesting to see if it can improve on that run.

The victoria cup tomorrow, looks like pretty quick ground after tonights racing, horses such as lightening cloud and bertie whittle are saved for these meetings and rarely run a bad race on the track.Lightning cloud has led a big field here before when drawn 24 the far side draws came up infact lightening cloud and bertie whittle were the the first two on nearside in 3rd and 6th.They are drawn 22 and 27 tomorrow i can see them staying on the rail as the going if right is at least as quick if not faster highland colori also has led here before when drawn on the far side when 5th of 27 to field of dreams on a solo run. These three all like the ground and the likely hood the pace could come from highland colori also drawn 24 and lightening cloud have had some small interests with some fcasts. Also going to have a small bet on rebellious guest i had this down as a group horse after watching it win at windsor sluiced home in a good time compared to older horses two seasons ago as a 2yr old.Has shown nothing since george margason had a decent winner today so will have a small interest at maybe some massive prices

secret session

This race was franked by arctic admiral today sluicing up off 70,secret sessions been given a mark of 71 yet this was debut run and the time was respectable for first run.Secret sessions disappointed twice now on the turf so will be switched back to the aw and looks well handicapped, may just get overlooked on books opening prices after last two losses.

1pt trade phoenix clubs 13/2 victor!!

Hard to know where the improvement came from last time out as phoenix cklubs looked throughly exposed, she ran well beyond any of her previous form when running 5th to love island. That run actually looks very dubious but its impossible to find fault with it,whether she will produce it again isanother thing. That race has worked out really well from donny, the 4th bedloes island winning off 82 next time out, having the third moorhouse lad back in third in the same handicap and love island the winner even though only 8th of 19 was 2nd on the wrong side at thirsk. The 6th from the race has also franked the fortm in a better race another wise kid recent third to enrol and missippi that form franked tonight as well by the 4th from that particular race klynch winning tonight. She may never repeat this form again looking at her previous form but will have to give her a chance as the form is rock solid.

frog hollow,harrison george

Frog hollow formerly with clive cox at one time looked to be going on to better things 3rd to rewarded and archbishop may 2012 off 90.Has been disappointing since that run slowly coming down the weights, has changed stabkles now with bradley. Was an eyecatcher at wolves behind tarooq 4 runs back finishing strongly over 6fs to be nearest finish and tonight the only real runner to come off the pace and finish 5th running on to unexposed sprinters. He doesn't look one to trust completely but think he's worth following for a while after this run and maybe a very stiff 6fs or 7fs running off an all time low mark of 83.
Didn't think i'd be putting harrison george up as one to follow but the last two runs have caught the eye.Penultimate run at donny was 8th of 20 in a hot handicap led then passed by a 1/2 dozen runners only to run on again looking to be in need of further. That form was franked today by york glory winning a decent handicap at ponte two places infront of harrison george at donny.Tonight was up with the pace throughout and on the drying ground although looking beat a furlong out was finding again at the finish,he looks in really good form and maybe a step up to 7fs will be the key last win october 2010 over 7fs on sft ground. If he's going to win will be now off just a mark of 85 lowest mark since july 2008!

Off to follows the donny run was franked by yeeow tonight behind harrison george in that race but winning tonight and democretes runner up third in the race above.I've taken 11/2 you couldn't be overly confident with natasha eaton riding as although has a great draw in 14 its whether she can take advantage.Secondly looking at the times it maybe the ground is drying out quickly so could do with a little rain, have to have a bet as the form of the last two races looks so good.I will still be following harrison george whatever as i think there's maybe more than one win left in him;).The two that stand out with him are ortac rock and signor sassi both open to more improvement.

5/1 365.
IUf there's some decenyt amounts of rain i can see this being a big gamble.

1pt trade my kingdom 33/1 could be bigger on betfair!!

My kingdom thoroughly exposed but still cvapable of running well as last season showed when ver consistent, placed 8 consecuitve times and ridiculously went from a mark of 75 to 85 without winning a race. This is the biggest price he's been in two seasons yet last season onkly ran two poor races a 5th of 21 to amadeus wolf tone staying on eyecatchingly was the highlight in a better race than tomorrows. He came back from a 6 month break so willing to forgive that and worth a few coppers based on last seasons consistency especially now given sione relief by the handicapper down to 77.He's no 33/1 shot on most of last years form if he runs to it will be in the shake up,he's probably one to follow at big pricves in these races or slightly weaker.

1pt trade arsaadi 12/1 lads!!

Arsaadi runs off 102 and welterweight but bar the stables other runner nothing much appeals could easily be something well handicapped but not on form so far.I can see this being well backed and could turn into a nice littloe trade even though hughes rides the other for haggas westwiththenight raised to a mark of 90.Similarly does look well in but a bit short, arsaadi has run wel here runner up to duntle and that 3yr old listed race was quicker than the huge field handicap won by prince of johanne on the same day.Even allowing for the ages of the two races it still compared well and 102 might not be as bad as first appears. She looks unlikely to win but i can see her shortening quite a bit in ths race where a lot of the form looks mediocre.

She gives up the rail and the 4 draw takes the rail, what a sack of spuds, plus the notts runner managed to get hampered when everyrunner was spread across the track. These two must've trade at 1.1 1.2 dire riding.

Hoofalong

The time of this race looked good considering this was hoofalongs seasonal debut making all and finishing full of running, the time comparatively pretty good to to the rest of the card.Has been given a mark off 77 which puts it in the bracket of very competitive races, but out of pastoral pursuits I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot more improvement under mick easterby. Will probabkly be hard to back as will be in competitive races but looks an interesting runner to follow. It maybe one that's a long way infront of the handicapper.

This race looks like following iover a cliff only .04 slower than ektihaam winning the listed race from Thomas Chippendale by 6ls winner rated 111 runner up 112.The listed race was run at a nice pace certainly not uneven suggesting the handicap is very strong form for the grade.Just looking at the first six home it looks even better when you look at their profiles most of them bar the rinner up have only had 5/6 runs and some were coming off long lay offs.Should be some nice value floating around from this race especially when you get further down the field to horses like mexicali trained by ivory which will undoubtedly be overlooked. The fact the first 6 home are also open to improvement makes it eve more interesting not just the time of the race

Tinshu.

Will add on tinshu especially if she returns to ascot over 1m2fs she travels well on this track and although looked not to stay never got a run so was probably a bit better than she showed and as the time was so good a return here at massive prices she'd be worth a bet.

Chosen one will probably win if transferring its catterick form to Beverley but two totally different tracks.Diamond blue looks overopriced now switched to fav track 3/5/1/3/3 c/d record, runs off lowest mark since winning here august 2012..Has had the pieces off for last 5 runs and running over wrong trips but last win was with them on,amy ryan rides and rode her on last win here and has a good record on her.Richard whittakers horses have been running well, she will always be worth a bet at these prices whe running over this c/d and she could well be heavily backed.I'll be following her when she runs here in future.
