Decent looking handicap ending the newmarket card backed up by the time over a second quicker than the sales race won by windhoek running off a mark of 93 having ghurair rated 111 in behind in third. The first three rated 77,83 and 80 in the handicap, the race also compared well to the other races on the card so they all look well handicapped.

Some really interesting time comparisons and if these times work out these four are well ahead of their current marks. There were three 6f races run on wednesday at ripon, jonny cavagin winning off 77 carrying 8-13 winning a 71-85 handicap for older horses slow by 3.58 seconds, later on the card the 2nd div was won by baccarat and sandy lane baccarat off 84 carrying 9-6 slow by 3.30 seconds.
The 3yr old handcap above the fuirst four the race was slow by 3.37 seconds and yet they were only rated 73,68,71,66 and yet off levels all wouldv'e beaten baldemar second to jonny cavagin in the first div rated 71 with 80+ runners in behind. This could turn out to be exceptionally strong form for the grade so will be keeping a close eye on these runners as bar the winner and runner up the 3rd and 4th should go off decent prices.

KABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM Just shows what a disadvantage running off that rail newcastle was.;)

baltic prince

A bit late in the season for horses to follow on the aw but baltic prince first run on fibresand and ran well after getting left 6ls then switched wider giving even more ground away to be beaten a length.Has run well in slightly better races previous off slightly higher marks, now at the lowest level back over this track a 6f race should take all the beating off just a mark of 48.I can see him being out again quickly in one of these very weak races, finished with a bit in hand at the end of the race as well.
Does turf count?

Never even saw it running 33/1 crazy price considering it had beaten jordanstown by an eased 3ls at wolves, jordanstwon went off 8/1 in same race today.

1pt trade tom sawyer 12/1 ppower.

On at 12s,11s,10s,9s and 8s nice to get a decent profit on trade and some running on for a change, got a little free bet on the fav after taking 11/2 this morning!!,

Tom sawyers still only had 15 runs on the turf and won 3 of them all over tomorrows 5fs ideally looks like he wants gd ground ,won by 5ls last season off 64 and tomorrow runs off a 4 pound higher mark.Luke morris rides won on him august last year,he went onto donny to run 4th of 19 to evens stevens in a class 4 handicap off 74 so has dropped 6 pound comng into this race. He is also 1/1 over the c/d and there is a possibility he could still be improving as still lightly raced.Has shown nothing in last 2 runs on the aw and has got priced up on those runs,as long as the grounds not to quick the 12/1 looks to big.
The other that stands out is beauty pageant last run on turf second off 78 to demora at bath and has the beatibg of tom sawyer on earlier aw form, also has changed stable to david brown first run for him tomorrow off a mark of just 63.Not backing two in the race but could well win if back to that form of bath lasst season.

11/1 victor!!

Just backed Beauty Pageant at 11/2, Dave Evans done a remarkable job to get his mark down a stone in just 3 months, only had one proper race for him over the minimum 5fs when btn by his stablemate Dark Lane which won again at Chepstow last week. Interesting that its gone back to D Brown now with S Leavy back on top, record of 112 on this horse from 73,80 and 74 all on good or Firm going, has to get backed tmr surely.

Might be one tomorrow at yarmouth looking for 25/33s maybe bigger on betfair will see in the morning to throw some coppers at!

Sairaam i put on here this month last year at 25/1 she won at 15/2 at leicester, she's been running on the aw where she never shows anything and her last run was at catterick when alledgedly was lame but never shown form on those sort of tracks anyway.
For the last 2/3 seasons she's been running extrememely consistently hovering between 63-69 she races off 57 today lowest mark since june 2010.What she does like is straight tracks on decent ground all her form is either here at yarmouth or at liecester, the last time she ran on gd/fm ground was here win last season off 63 winning a better race than todays beating daruband and copperwood at leicester.Going back through her previous 4/5 runs on gd/fm they had all been in better class and she 5th off 66 4th off 66 a second off 65 and 68 a tenth and then twicre second again. She doesn't win very often but when she gets her ground and runs on these straight tracks she rarely ruuns a bad race.
I'll be following here fior a awhile as she will be going off huge prices compared to her capabilities, she may not be in form yet but if she hits form in races like this she'd have a great ew chance and would be no 25/1 shot.
25/1
sjames maybe bigger on betfair.

After a few weeks lurking and not posting, our friend Norfolk is back.

What a helpful comment Norfolk. Care to elaborate on why this won't be winning or placing today, or is that beyond your mental capacity?

He's been busy backing the other winners i've been putting up probably did the 4000/1 acca the other week different gear,as you well know.Seen you lurking in the shadows you're a right snide,as jms been telling me,he'd love to have a little word with ya,;)

A pretty decent time by the hannon horse faster than when fig roll won on debut over c/d won again saturday, the form also looks good with the third blockade and the fourth twist and shout both coming out of the newmarket maiden won by fire blaze.Probably won't be much value, but always a chance could be overpriced after winning on the aw and seen as one of the weaker horses in the stable.

Dissapointing effort from Beauty pageant there, beaten 3 out but was running on again final furlong but Levey didn't seem to want to ride him out!
2 great trades again though Andy.

First time in months i;'ve been able to get all prices backed it at 12s,11s,10,9s,took all the 8s was out at 6.2,left a bit running on got a free bet on the fav as well. The ground to me looks on the soft side looks overwatered to me the way they were strung out,,time was slow in the first as well, will be interesting to see how these soft ground horses get on danzoe wouldv'e preferred cut as well.
