verse of love

This was an eyecatching run by verse of love as was squeezed out giving an 8l start running on to be nearest finish, has not looked anywhere near the form of last season when winning off 83 at chester beating strictly silver and bannock. Also followed up this run with a 4th to mister music and boom and bust he looks in good form now and probably with a decent draw at chester or even switched to the aw looks on a winnable mark.

gabrials gift

Gabrials gift sluiced up in this claimer has looked exposed but the time of this race 1m11.60 and the ease of the win suggests that a mark of 75 looks generous at least over this c/d.Already two class 4 handicaps run over the c/d on Wednesday the times of the winners 1m11.68 and 1m11.99 winners off 77 and 81 gabrials gift looked far superior to those performances and looks worth following at least over this c/d and could well be underestimated if the times are a good guide.Looking at that time it would be hard to estimate how much more there is to come.

pivotal silence,gabrial the duke

Reasonable time for the trip at lingfield on the aw and both horses have been disappointing switched to the turf both been beaten at short prices on a few runs. They now become more interesting and should be a bit of value back on the aw and underestimated and still ope to improvement on the surface off marks around 70.

al thakhira

Although obvious the way this filly quickened on soft ground on debut was big eyecatcher there looks loads of improvemet to come and the time compared favourably to the maiden won by gravitational rated 80.The fillies maiden only .74 slower she looks listed class already to me on this run and with so many very weak races around at that level I think she will be value during the autumn in something a bit better.

Jamaican bolt

Got turned over again on Wednesday but again the ground turned against him drying over the 2 days I think was left in just to get a run.He never travelled in the race and think this was still a decent run running on to be nearest finish on ground to fast free zone was rated 105 last season and jiroft had run well at Epsom off 102 behind duke of Firenze yet was only off 92 in this race. This form could be far better than it first appears, jamaican bolts still only had the 12 lifetime runs and although never gets underestimated in the betting is probably worth following blind now the autumn and ground has arrived..

horsted keynes

The time on what was probably just slower than standard was decent for the ease of the win and on seasonal debut and only third run.Hand's 'n heels win off a mark of 76 and also .85 quicker than free spin winning the second div hosted Keynes looks well handicapped and again could be another heading for liseted class.Probably one of the few decent looking prospects seen on the aw so far this season

Your comments: A very fast time of 1m13.60 on the aw eased and hacking up by the filly, can't remember anything quicker 2yr old wise and considering the ease of the win probably one of the most impressive winners seen on the aw in recent times. Her form on the turf over 5fs previous looked average she may yet get a nice mark for nurserys, even if she doesn't repeat this run on turf she looks a top class aw horse.

Your comments: Ayr Gold Cup - 20/1 365/Hills -This group 2 produced two massive eyecatchers in may and could well be two of the main contenders in the ay gold cup.Hawkeyethenoo looked unlucky in this race sitting behind but not getting the gap and could've had a group 2 to his name as it is has slightly disappointed since but a few excuses since trip ground and last time out at goodwood looked unlucky.Held up away from the pace was stopped in run several times and looked the second best horse in the race finis

Your comments: Ayr Gold Cup - 25/1 Hills - The other is the progressive jack dexter also huge eyecatcher in the group 2 race above cantering in midfield getting pushed further and further away from the pace in doing so wasting loads of ground. He's won 5/10 runs over 6fs and even though scraped home against miss rally on last run I think he's far superior to that horse. The handicap ran on the same day as the above won by miss rally was run in 1m12.48 as opposed to the above run in 1m11.68 that run gives the pai

Benoni

Ran today back on turf unplaced but looks far more interesting on the aw run above when second, that handicap was .40 quicker than a decent claimer won by mr david won on the same night. The runner up in the claimer 75 rated secret beau and azrael 78 back in 4th the third from the handicap above fossa has hacked up back over c/d by 2 3/4ls beating a field of mid 70 horses.Benoni was way overbet today and with a return to the aw and after finishing 2ls clear of fossa from the above could be a bit of value preferably back over this c/d.

A weak nursery but the times on the day suggest it maybe slightly better than first appears and even though three of the first four have been well beaten those runs have been on gd/sft or softer ground. This race was run on gd/fm was only .14 slower than the older class 3 handicap won by feel the heat rated 66 off 8-4 winner bandolier in the above off 8-8 rated 66.That older handicap had recent winners circuitous and ambitious Icarus behind so the time comparisons look good. Now three from first four from the nursery have all got beat they will more than likely be overpriced and worth giving a chance back on faster ground. There won't be many meetings with the right ground so i'll be watching these closely as they may run up a few 0's before getting the right conditions.

Great to see youposting again.

Might be a live one tomorrow back in a class 3 off 4lbs lower and carrying 12lbs less physical weight.

TAAJUB

Couple of eyecatchers in this race one was dungannon already on my to follows for ascot and the other was taajub probably one of the biggest eyecatchers I've seen in sometime.Adam Kirby deliberately dropping taajub out,in doing so getting shuffled back and losing 6ls yet finished the race on the bridle.Looked by far the best horse in the race and could well go unnoticed, fairly progressive sprinter last season as well especially on faster ground.Last three previous runs on gd/fm taajub had been 2nd to barnet fair off 98,2nd to desert law off 100 and followed that with 3rd to swiss spirit and kingsgate native in group race. His form is starting to look better on firmer ground and there looks a nice handicap to be won was ridden with that in mind today and maybe seen in listed races, there's a possibility could be better than ever.

The problem with taajub now it's just betting it from a handicap perspective as impossible to see why its run so poorly since sandown as usually so consistent when in form. Also the ground would be slowest its ever won on you could only back it as a token bet even though big price price anywhere near its best.Possibly could be well backed if ground drys with Kirby riding again so maybe a decent trade even if no show.

Bow creek

I'll mention this although will probably be absolutely no value whatsoever but will be interesting to see how progressive he turns out to be.Whilst in hospital I saw the time he clocked at chester and it looked exceptionally quick but as no idea if there had been more rain at the track on the same day was hard to know if that was a true reflection of ability. Was then unplaced but again franked the chester run again could be absolutely anything,in saying this it again shows just how weak these 90 rated 2yr olds running in these nurseries are and how poor in general the 2yr olds are again this season.

Lucky dan

Shown very little this season although showed a bit more last time out over an inadequate trip over 5fs at Beverley and on ground to slow, outpaced 2fs out but then staying on again. That form looked very weak a second slower than the other division but lucky dan becomes more interesting when stepped up to 6fs on the turf and and on faster ground. He's now falling to near last years winning marks when he won back to back races off 63 and 70 I put him up last season at Carlisle because of his chester run so I know the present mark he is more than capable of his present mark of 68.Similarly to a few others I've got on here he may not get his ground for awhile but another little slip in the weights and a better price would be one to look out for on faster ground.

but as no idea if there had been more rain at the track on the same day

I was there that day and it was a hot day, were the track really should have got faster.

I had actually backed the night before to trade off pre race, but there was no internet connection at the track.

I always felt the last York run could be ignored.

Dancing maite

Dancing maite discovered some old form today sluicing up by 4 1/2ls eased and the time of the race was decent only .11 slower than the slightly progressive creek falcon winning off 73.Dancing maite hasn't won often on the flat and but does save a lot of his best form for Leicester,i put him up this time last year at 16/1 off a mark of 66 today he won off 52 that's how well handicapped he had become. If he repeats this run then even a 10 pound rise shouldn't stop him,his strike rate is poor but on this form he could be running nearer to a mark of 70 he's worth backing next time out especially if he runs back over this c/d.

Back at liecester over c/d on at 33s beaten by the 1 draw settle for it though!!;)

Mysterious wonder

Mysterious wonder on last three runs has looked like wanting an extra furlong and with no assistance from the saddle eva moscrop riding been a bit of an eyecatcher.Although I wouldn't go overboard he was nearest finish today and with step up in trip off a mark of only 55 hopefully overpriced and worth a couple of chances with just the 8 lifetime runs.

WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!;)

Sand reflection

There were a few eyecatchers from the godolphin horses amongsr their winners including groundbreaking and wadi al hattawi but will just stick with this one as they probably won't be any value.Sand reflections debbut run at Newmarket over 7fs running only .26 slower than bluegrass blues winning the 3yr old handicap off 83 but in doing so hacking up.The ease of the win and time will surely be one of the best 2yr olds over this trip and further she looks top class.

Hawkeyethenoo

Whether hawkeyethenoo is flattering to deceive at the end of the races it may well be the case only time he was travelling was at the end of the race nearest finish. He's run quite a few races like this in the last few seasons and perhaps just not well handicapped enough but i'm not entirely convinced the pace was that great on the farside today. He maybe worth chancing as the autumn approaches two decent runs on soft ground last season a second to maarek and a 4th to society rock this season look good enough to win and may start getting overpriced.

Rebel code

Was in a very poor looking race tonight at lingfield so this is speculative as the form of this race was very poor but don't think graham lee was to interested in getting involved once he knew the horse couldn't win.He has a very nice dirt pedigree and could be one at huge prices to keep an eye out from a stable that has few 2yr old winners but paid decent amount for this one.

Your comments: A weak nursery but the times on the day suggest it maybe slightly better than first appears and even though three of the first four have been well beaten those runs have been on gd/sft or softer ground. Now three from first f

Your comments: Two very strange rides by martin lane recently riding the mare and eyecatching both times, she had been running well on the aw this was her grade tonight and she should be competitive in these races. She's currently running off 65 and although she doesn't win often is usually overpriced because of trainer .She sluiced up off 63 last season in august over windsors 1m2fs spread-eagling a field of 70 horses behind her and heavily backed, she's worth looking out for in decent ground races at the track

Pleasure bent

A fast time for the mile at Kempton and the winner could go on after only 3 runs to be better than a handicapper but that will be reflected in the prices. The proximity of angelic upstart and sir mike suggest the time may have flattered them in this race and the track was riding a quicker than recent meetings.Pleasure bents only rated 77 and although the winner and runner up looked superior he's still off a reasonable mark to his finishing position and could yet improve again. If he returns to Kempton there should be more races to be won so maybe a little bit of value.
