Daily picks.

The only reason I note these are in hope that the handicappers lenient, for example if this was put on a mark of a 100 would look great for an ascot handicap especially if took on older horses they don't really interest me the group races they are just to competitive and there's very rarely any value with so many improvers.Think this things now 25/1 fot the derby the classics and all those high profile group races I very rarely even look at,i;m just looking for handicappers mistakes..

Jack Hobbs being the case in point!!! Entered in the Dante and has a mark of 85

Ecore d'or

Half brother to eqwuiano and evita [peron nice aw debut and the best 2yr old run on the clock at wolves by some way but also in a canter. He would really interest me through the aw season if carrys on running as tonights time was only .01 slower than realize last night over the same c/d off 75 for older horses.Hardly any decent 2yr old aw form,if he switches back to turf then obviously becomes less interesting as the 2yr old races he will be competing in will be very decent in saying that he could well be underestimated as on this run could still be a massive improver...

This was the mosty irritating thing of the season si far,ran at Newmarket last week in tattersalls millions came 4th to 100+ horses,if they'd left it in the 3yr old handicap on the same day would've won faster than winner salt island rated 93 on same card, would've received 8 pound and even carried 2 pound more now mark is ruined, cracking bet was taken away as well these trainers are nuts..Now will be bumped up to a mark in the mid 90s for coming 4th

Flight risk

Managed to ctach the Dundalk race, nice l;ittle race for thecard and the lightly raced 3yr old flight risk, couldn't go the early pace must've been 4-5ls off the pace early.A the 2f pole lookee even further behind maybe 5/6ls then was nearest finish, probably would've beat these 4/5ls over 6fs although they were 5f horses so would've been expected but still nice run. This was only 3rd lifetime run and 2nd of the season, first time out 4th behind scream blue murder and winner since jamsie.Obviously his rating is going to be high for such few runs, but I like the fact he's run on the aw and could be a new horse for the aw season with better prizemoney on offer. He's open to loads of improvem, ent I'd expect him to be contesting the listed races on the aw tracks, his mark maybe to high in the handicaps but worth seeing what he's entered in..

Jack hobbs

An incredible time the track must be lightening as this was only debut run and the placed horses form didn't look upto much either, but the winner gave them a start and ran wide throughout if you took the fastest races run at wolves this year over this trip by the older horses than you would suspect the winner is a 100 horse on this surface comfortably.Certainly the most impressive winner seen at wolves as 2yr old on the clock half brother to niceofyoutotellme, what will be interesting is to see how this race works out as well when I looked at previous runs they all looked poor to me but the winner maybe 10ls better than these at least but still will be interesting to see how the time works out.The winner looks like taking prices for later in the aw season, presuming they keep him on the surfaces...Beau knight was a little eyecatcher from the back related to group winners over further so might be worth noting as well...

Pipers note

Incredible performance by steel river not just winning but looking different class to these probably one of the most impressive winners on the aw this season and when you think he was rated just 69 on the 27th of september he sluices up here off 87 and looked like a 100 horse all under new trainer Michael; herrington. The previous run when he won at wolves over 7fs was a massive pointer as he was on to follows fastest time I could remember a 75 horse winning at wolves but in doing so hacked up,the form tonight looks similarly strong yet another cracking time 1m10.94 and the ease he won looks like he will be going into listed races for the rest of the aw season. The runner up had won 4/13 races on the turf was first run on the aw tonioght and has been progressing through the season looks to be improving so would think will be running also throughout the aw season. There was a further 2 1/4ls back to the third secondo also lightly raced so the form not just backed up by the time but with runners and distances in behind!!
;):ninja:You could've had tricast in todays race 3rd,5th and 6th from st Winifred filling first 3 places...

Never change

One of the fastest maidens seen so far at lingfield and by fillies and runner up and third only debut runs which makes the time even more impressive, they could be very nice handicappers to follow on the aw,the winner only had an rpr of 68 so there's a decent xchance they could get really nice marks in the near future as well. Both have nice pedigrees out of new approach and azamour and could even progress over further, hopefuly will be kept on the aw for the rest of the aw season.

Another bad day for the handicapper:lol::cool::D

Canny cool

Only got an rpr of 72 but could be far better than that mark, not just because of winning distance tioday but the clock with all the other 5f races compared very favourably. The opening claimer won by meccas mirage rated 68 was .91 slower than canny cools maiden and canny kool carried 12 pound more, then the two class 5s for older horses were just .12 and .02 quicker won by bond beach boy rated 75 and ambitious Icarus both of which were well handicapped and the 2yr old has matched there performances.Hopefully will get chucked in some nurserys off generous mark,i presume will be seen in listed races around those northern tracks at some point before the end of the season of which he may just win one if getting this decent ground...

Chestnut colt winning very easily and only a cheap purchase, the time looked relatively good on dead ground the winning time of this maiden only .41 slower than canny kool winning the older handicap for 3yr olds off 85 with the ease of the maiden winner looking so good then should be worth following at least at handicapping level.Looking at his action the ground definitely suited not so sure anything with less juice would suit, the dam was fibresand winner and half sister to lethal won 9 races on the aw,pretty sure he will be on the aw at some point long term probably no more than handicapper but should be some pickings early season..

Ridge ranger

Nice debut from winner trained by one of my fav sprint trainers eric alston,i'm always looking out for the odd one or two of his just incase he has a nice progressive handicapper.Ridge ranger gave these a 4l start where the psce was holding up in the sprints,so did well to win by 3ls quite convincingly at finish. There was rain at the meeting so hard to compare times but looking at the 5th race it looks as though it may have been mainly drizzle as times weren't affected that much throughout the evening. This half sister related to lots of winners invincible ride, ridge wood, full mandate, danidh Dubai and badr al badoor, the winning time was .69 slower than jamesbos girl rated 74 in the older handicap that time maybe better than it looks as she herself is regaining her form was 89 rated 2013.
The mark of the 3yr old would be a guestimate but an opening mark of 75 would seem workable as she did win convincingly with lots of improvement to come.

Marciano

An incredible time on a desperately slow surface, the last two meetings have been the same the slowest the tracks been all season and only a very small % of horses going on it as long as the cold weathers around then the track won't get any quicker and there will be similar results with a larger pool of horses winning and maybe newer horses that go on softer ground.I wouldn't be using these times and carryuing them over to when the track rides standard but mick Appleby has yet again got huge improvement from Marciano on debut, had run a couple of times here before not showing anything like this form, was actually 7 pound out of the handicap today and won in m28.65 an incredibly fast time considering how slow the previoous 14 races had been on this surface. The distances behind showing that very few runners are acting on it 5ls back to the second and then 6,4 1/2,3 1/4,3 1/4,4 1/2,3 1/2 so anything that prefers the track when riding this slow looks at nmassive advantage Marciano as long as track is riding like this should take some beating even with the inevitable rise..

A maiden for 3 and 4 year olds and although no mad early gallop,a very respectable winning time very rarely see winning times over this c/d in maidens around the 2m31 mark and may suggest this was a decent race,it maybe the 4yr old royal history faced an impossible task conceding 19 pound to the 3yr old winner. They may be zilch value in terms of betting but think they look really interesting to keep track of and their progression, preferably would like to see them get a mark on the aw and then would consider having a bet but on.Would like to see the winner given a mark of just 75 if having a bet, which is unlikely but the 4yr old humping that big weight may just get in lightly think they are runners to consider back on the aw and maybe switched to turf..

Silver wings

The ground at Windsor has been on the dead side on the three previous Mondays, again being overwatered not producing soft ground but not the fcast gd/fm or anywhere near, the maiden won by silver wings was as fast as the one on the 13th and a second quicker than great page from the 20th ascot bound of hannons.Silver wing is trained by dave evans used to be brilliant with limited 2 yr olds and seems to be getting some better horses into the stable, the colt yet another winner out of Zebedee already produced ivawood and dam related to family of top sprinter.
The time of last nights race looks very strange being a second quicker than last weeks winner as the going looked slower last night so I won't take that at complete face value, but although I wouldn't take anything that dave evans says at face value he did mention this colt had been working allover his twice raced 2yr old rajs to riches on the wolves surface. He's also mentioned the lily agnes which is invariably a weak race and ascot for the colt so at least short term early season might be worth following before the better class runners appear. The colt won easily enough last night from 2/3 decent stables and runner up cost 240,000 euros so no reason why he isn't slightly above average for little stable which might produce a bit of value..

Thee and me

Interesting pedigree out of canford cliffs and not that cheap a purchase for bill turner 25000,went off big price on debut and today winning at 18/1,the form doesn't look great but all runners were only having second run.The time seemed respectable only .27 slower than the maiden won by rahmah rated 77 so there's the possibility the race might not be as weak as first appears, the turner horse was hacking up all the way round and given decent ride by ryan while seemed to know exactly what he had under him,he could've gone .on at any point in this race and won by a lot further. With the form looking so weak through various formlines,I can't really see that the winner can be given much of a mark for nurseries a long way off but at least on this surface the way he won he looks one to follow,i don't have any idea what his mark will be as nothing to go on but I think he will be underestimated.Wil be interesting to see what turner does with him,i'm sure he will say he expects him to go on to better things but his future will surely lie in handicaps

Sperry

A decent time for the filly hacking uop by 7ls although the tracjk is very quick as shown by the weak 5f race earlier on the card, what was more impressive was she was very keen in this race and really didn't start to race till the 3f pole and she made all which has been impossible to do so far this season and clock up decent times, all the decent times have come from closers.Wasn't a big surprise when you look at her pedigree half sister to dunelight aw listed 113,Leahurst aw 117,Interceotion aw 92 her dame related to family of street cry,she may still get in off a decent mark even with this win as nothing in behind looked anygood hard to give her a rating as she could yet be anything. She looks one to follow regardless as any improvement she has to be winning races and another for the big prizes in the aw she potentially looks like one of the best seen so far, hopefully she will be kept going as she's a natural on this surface..

Another lovely looking filly again the clock very informative....;)

A very fast looking time on the Friday card infact quicker than todays win by music master although that race was not run at a true clip this still looks a quick time for 2yr olds in a small field. The time on the day compared very favourably with the 5f sprint for older horses and looks massively improved form to me for not just the winner but the runer up as well.Adaay was back in third and was beaten 5 3/4l futyher than he was beaten by the wow signal at ascot so an interesting race.Last season on this card the 5f sprint was 1.60 seconds quicker than this years corresponding race which shows the ground was not as quick as the listed race would suggest and puts it in an even better light.
Limato has only had 3 runs he could be very decent from the candy stable and the second may just have improved again after a recent 6th to hootenay, there are lots of 2yr olds now clocking up decent times too many to write up and put on here.Quite a proliferation to be betting them but think the candy horse maybe worth risking in higher grade and the second may just go off bigger prices than it should in listed races..

Visually this looked like a group horse to me,whether the form is up to much is hard to weigh up,champoinship in second has become disappointing and the third won a Kempton maiden by 5ls on debut. The field at finish strung out, regiment was 13ls behind and had some solid habndicap form but not entirely convinced by this field.I just like the way martin Harley let him travel into the race,he looked to have a tonne in hand at finish looked different class to these and with only 4 runs although not yet backed up by form or the clock he looks one to follow. He may just be a group horse.

As I said the eye told me he was a group horse, wish he'd won the Lincoln though!!!!:cool:

Jersey cream

Nice start for new trainer jersey cream the filly bought off gary moore for just 4000,must be kicking himself as this trip looks her forte and making of her, sitting off a very decent pace winning time 1m59.64 pretty good for a filly just rated 49 there should be more races to be won with her in these low ghrade races and obviously faster the pace the better. She sluiced up in this race looked to have loads in hand with fioeld spreadeagled out behind, the times are very quick there at the m,oment and pretty confusing as I think the track is definitely varying now from meeting to meeting so using the times not as reliable as it was a few weeks back but still have to like this win and she only has 13 lifetime runs so totally unexposed..

:ninja:Absolute shedful winning off here, can't be bothered to bring them all back up if you're following them you'll know what they are on ridiculous run for last 9 months!!!!!
