Daily picks.

Jockey Lost that race for Tyrsal, if it had gone down the outside from the start it would have peed it.

Jon

The only bonus was it drifted so got a decent place bet on it,i thought it was going to be favourite today,de sousa makes some of these hound races massive value I knew it was best horse in the race the layers got very lucky there..

Your not wrong Johnny40 :(

Unlucky Andy but still a great thread.Hope you are well ;)

Not really greg lot of health problems which doesn't help with the racing unfortunately too much to keep track of unless you're 100% and even then it's hard enough..

Friday Newbury 2.35

Wide open handicap hopefully the ground will be on the slow side preferably soft, shared equity looked one to follow after winning by a ridiculously easy 3ls at York back in October 2015 winning a better race than this and off 96 something has happened to the horse since that win has only run six times since and although run respectably has never been nearer than when 2nd to blainne at Epsom probably could excse that run going off to quick.Ran in the Wokingham off 100 finishing a respectable 10th and a couple of runs on good ground and another race over 7fs not suiting missed the break at chester nearest finish, still doesn't explain why such few runs but has come back down to a mark of 97 just a pound higher than the York win.First run of the season, but usually runs ok first time out was 5th to mobsta in the cammidge last season trying to make all that was desperate ground slow by 8 seconds, something not quite as desperate as that would suit also been 3rd and won on previous two serasonal debuts newbury looks like being gd/sft sft,the slight drop in grade may help and jedd o'keeffe;s horses have been in form so worth a small bet.Hopefully shared equity will be back to best this season, that day at York was a big gamble and was expefted so obviously the horse had shown a lot motre than that mark of 97 when winning, has it to prove now but still interesting..
The one that immediately catches the eye is spearings clear spring, standing dish over this c/d won the race the last two seasons off 97 and 100 and after going backwards last season ran respectavle on return behind mr lupton and sits on a mark of 95,has a great record second or third runs back and in this month so not easily discounted..

Shared equity 12/1 365 11/1 skybet 10/1 sjames

12/1 victor/ppower

Doesn't look loads of pace in the race so even if he blows up first time out could well trade short in running!!

Don't know whats going on at York donnchas race was fast by .18 seconds, faster than last years result on gd/fm complete joke exactly the ground I was avoiding at newbury last time out was more worried about it being testing crazy, will be avoiding York in future as the straight track was the opposite lots of strange results and fields strung out..As it turned out still got smashed in the betting 13/2 from 12/1,so there's always the angle I mentioned pricewise always overbet..

Probably worth following this maiden for the next month and should throw up winners, these Newmarket 2yr old maidens don't often turn out that great but the time unusually was pretty decent only .85 slower than El Astronaute winning off 88 in the 5f older handicap, that race was run at blistering pace whereas the 2yr old race looked steady early on.That time from the 2yr olds would suggest there could be some 100 horses in there and at least for early races should throw up a fair few winners, also was a lot quicker than todays 2yr old race, this race sets the early benchmark.Could be some nice bets in maidens/conditions etc..

Unfortunately from the above race runs tomorrow in the first at Hamilton. Looks to have a solid chance with the 5lb claimer up.

Any opinion gigilo?

Wouldn't have put anyone off bettinf the 4/1 ew that was on offer, racings just impossible at the moment change of goings by the hour even shared equity that likes soft ground hated that bottomless ground at newbury, same at Newmarket don't know how they make it sft/gd/sft its completely bottomless impossible to have a bet.
Think its likely to be the same at Donny as well and maybe thirsk,so just going to have a couple of token bets I might do an ew lucky 15 but will only be to very small stakes on this ground..

Thirsk 2.45

Finnclass 22/1 ppower 20/1 365

In l;ast 16 runs finn class has never gone off shorter than 8/1 which suggests stable don't realy know when he's going to run well but most of his form has come on soft ground and won over this c/d last season when the ground was desperate off a mark of 88 the time of the race was slow by 12 seconds so desperate conditions In a decent race for horses rated upto 100.He didn't really go on from that race but still ran 3rd off 84 in September off 84 drops to 82 tomorrow, the ground and track look main positives and could easily run well in this if back to best..
Wilde inspiration has also become well handicapped hasn't won for a long time but at the weights has the beating of finn class on their Donny form but was over 6ls behind in the thirsk race still interesting down to last winning mark..

3.20

Will try naggers and Eccleston, naggers has been a progressive sprinter 4 wins from 15 runs was 4th on seasonal debut to wentworth falls and muntadab form that has worked out was running on well at finish as well and this is even a drop in grade,is drawn 1 but of a guessing game but previous meetings in big fields have suggestec there shouldn't be much in it.
Ecclestons been disappointing in last 12 months was 3ls behind naggers in the above race but still had some decent placed form last season on soft ground hasn't run in this grade since may 2015,might be worth having some speculative forecasts with intense style as well as that one os drawn by the fav and beat eccleston last season and finished behind him once so they could all run well and the last two mentioned have both run well over c/d,,

Naggers 6/1 paddy/totesport/lads/sjames Eccleston 10/1 lads/betbright 9/1 ppower/corals/totesport/betfred/boyles..

4.30

Will add in a shorter priced one steaming not sure will go on the ground but did run ok at wolves over the trip, out rail link better stats on gd/fm but has had 2 winners from 18 runners on heavy,so might be able to give the odds on shot a race as long as ground isn't a negative..Betting will be interesting as the favs out of dubawi so ground should suit..

Steaming 15/8 power/betfred/totesport

Donny 8.50

Khelman 14/1 lads/betway/365/victor Dandyleekie 10/1 ppower

Khelman was 3rd off 85 in ayr silver cup,he doesn't win very often now although races off 79 and claimer takes off 3 hasn't run in this grade since june 2014,dandyleekie won first time out last season on heavy ground not sure his style of racing at Donny will suit as usually up with the pace won off this mark of 79 in july.Would imagine tanasoq will win this if goes on the ground after a nice debut run of the season and beating some older hiorses rated in mid 80s..money team could also run well has finished infront of dandyleekie at catterick, maybe worth doing some forecasts if prices are still respectable..

6.20

2yr olds on desperate ground probably to avoid, but as I think flo's melody has the best known form then will add her she only ran in what looked a mediocre maiden at ripon but the time seemed ok compared to the first div,she hasn't shortened at all from opening prices of 7/4 not that surprising as ground could be heavy. Her sire swiss spirit showed nothing on slower ground, but invincible spirit sire of swiss spirit % wise is just as good on heavy as gd/fm,obviously not guaranteed again betting will be interesting being a fahey horse..

Flo's melody 7/4 365/victor/lads/corals/skybet/totesport/betfred..

Imshivalla 16/1 365/lads/corals

Looks a decent trade would imagine there will be at least one better in the race maybe a couple, but is off 83 lowest mark since august 2015 has loads of soft ground form last seso won off 88 got upto 93 and last two runs on soft ground over this trip has been 3rd off 88 and 4th off 90,has also run well here in a fillies listed race back in 2015 on heavy ground.Could easily halve in price if in same form at worst and the others even though thoroughly unexposed still have to prove it on ground etc, maybe even good for inrunning as well as trading..

16/1 victor can't believe these prices, must shorten unless non trier..

14/1 totesport/sjames/betfred/skybet/netbet 12/1 ppower/sportsbook/betbright

16/1 boyles

Been backing this allnight took 16s,14s,12s,10s,9s and even had some more on at 8s thought it would open that price tops, could cover most of my day if shortens anymore..even if it's last those prices were miles out..

I havn't checked all the 2yr old races this season, but from what I have seen there is very little I would tiuch ante post at the moment,by now there should be at least 5/6 that have stood out think theres maybe one in uk and a couple in reland that have done something on the clock, hope it picks up soon as by this point I usually have a bet lined up.Aty present looking at a very poor bunch and that includes second runs which you would expect decent times, very unusual..
