Alpha centauri

Maybe a decent 2yr old early maiden, winner doing so easily and .50 quicker than the 17 runner older race maiden, the winner in that race had only the one run and the second a further 2 1/2ls behind was rated 70 so on the times has beaten a 70 rated runner by a second on debut run with all the improvement on top. That following maiden did look a weak race but still you'd be disappointed if this wasn't at least a mid 90s horse or even a lot better one for the short list oif early listed races..

Probably worth following this maiden for the next month and should throw up winners, these Newmarket 2yr old maidens don't often turn out that great but the time unusually was pretty decent only .85 slower than El Astronaute winning off 88 in the 5f older handicap, that race was run at blistering pace whereas the 2yr old race looked steady early on.That time from the 2yr olds would suggest there could be some 100 horses in there and at least for early races should throw up a fair few winners, also was a lot quicker than todays 2yr old race, this race sets the early benchmark.Could be some nice bets in maidens/conditions etc..

That's two winners in 5 days from the race,i very rarely follow these 2yr old early races from Newmarket but unusuall the time was good and frozen angel last in the race wins the conditions race at Ascot fav looked fairly decent although probably nothing special, going to throw up loads of winners thios race ..

An open handicap both lady cristal and prazeres drop slightly in class lasdy cruistal running well behind two progressive horses at bath runs off 61 with claim the race at bath for horses rated upto 85 and only beaten 2ls decent place chances if gets away on terms from 4 draw.Similarly prazeres ran over 6fs at ripon last time out in big field leading to the furlong pole and stasying on,the 2nd won at ponte yesterday has slightly better draw and again from decent drsaw decent place chances if repeatibng that run,les eyres horses running ok as well/
After justy watching hamidans girl have to admit looked very unlucky last time out and looks nicely handicapped on aw form and lightly raced on turf, might be worth trying some forecasts as not wotth backing now prices have gone..

Atteq decent time at Beverley winning easily by 7ls has a 6 pound rise for that win but looking at the times that day at Beverley was actually .65 quicker than starlight romance winning off 75 in a decent handicap on the card same age group but atteq carried 13 pound more atteq is off 75 tomorrow, musselburugh far sharper track but still looks the one to beat.Seduce me could be the danger with step up in trip after running in decent handicap last time out..

Cosmic rays a veteran now, doesn't win very often but last two runs have been in slightly better class races, looks only two or three can win the race so looks at least place chances in a poor race..

Breaking free ran a decent 5th to wily rumpus at leicester last season in a slughtly better race than tomorrows but on seasonal debut missed the break, may have needed the run,but another pound drop could run well if handling faster ground..out of kyllachy so hopefully not to quick.Ching ching lor might also run better than last time ouit was in same race at catterick.

Hope you had a saver on ching ching lor sweet..:ninja: was unlucky in breaking frees race gutted never put it in multid.s

Don't know why I thought highs were advantage they are on the farside not the nearside, just trying to do too much so obviously now a disadvantage...

Ew multiples etc, quite ironically i wouldn't like to see fast ground and so used tio seeing gd/fm then overwaered it's difficult to get into mindset that ground will be quick, hopefully the griound will have some good in it,this season they have so far been a bit more subtle with watering..Again will be hoping for at least frame places on what are short prices.

Longroom won an apprentices rrace on seasonal debut, was on my to follows when winning at hamilton last season then flopped twice and won last time out, this might not be quite as obvious as should be as drawn wide so maybe worth having a reverse with teepee and cheeni tricast they both have form in this grade and on ground. It's going to go off 4/9 2/5 I woul;dv'e thought so decent trade free bet etc anyway..

Kharbetation looked a bit special when winning at thirsk last june by 5ls for roger varian, that was on softer ground so ? and long lay off and handicapper hammered it for that win given a mark of 93,if there;s been any imprivement from last season then this maybe a group horse in future. The time of its win when hacked up was only a second slower than ginger jack winning the older handicap for horses rated upto 90 on the same day,he did look different class to those horses although an opening mark of 93 especially on debut will be very interesting to see if he can defy that first run back, regardless of result will be following this one closely for o'meara.Betting will be very interesting especially with opening shows..
Kings pavillion now with david barron from mark johnston stable, ran well on debut at notts for david barrion 5th to george william in same grade as tomorrows, had been out of form for mark johnston end of last seaso after winning off 88 and being rated 95 soo reasonably well handicapped with stable in form off 86..

Prendergast hill lots of form over this c/d not particularly well handicapped off 80 but won off 82 over c/d last season and two places main positve seems to be the ground if on the quick side and obvious frame claims at worst..

Prendergast hill 9/4 365/ppower/sportsbook/lads/victor

Will add this as well almost certainly goig to trade a lot lower and a strong possibility hugh taylor will put it up..

Fujins been a revelation this season has won 4 races and reached form far beyind previous, last time out was 3rd in a class 2 to raucous 1st and 2nd rated 105 and 98 fujin 2ls behind winner and 1/4ls behind the 2nd off levels with winner and receiving 4 pound off kadrizzi so in theory back in handicap well in ioff just 85 and 5 pound claim to come off.The time was very quick 1m10.00 and as a comparison only .17 slower than the class 3 won by
Udontdodou fujin roughly a length slower than the winner rated 84 but carrying 6 pound more and same time as zac brown in 2nd rated 95 but carrying 2 pound more.It suggests the times and form were accurate and off just 80 no reason why he shouldn't run well,i'd be amazed if hugh taylor doesn't put him up at prices and even if beat will surely trade very low in last furlong, there's no reason why prices won't crash tomorrow especially if taylor puts it up and again could turn into a decent trade as well..

Fujuin 7/2 365/10/30 sybet/victor/lads/boyles/totesport/betfred/betway..

Prendergast hill lots of form over this c/d not particularly well handicapped off 80 but won off 82 over c/d last season and two places main positve seems to be the ground if on the quick side and obvious frame claims at worst..

Thanks. What's your strongest bet out of these?

There wasn't much in the prices that's why I never said anything about forecast sps, they just looked like they should run ok think most of them will shorten by a point to maybe a couple of points on the bigger priced ones so nothing outstanding they are much of a muchness and horses like breaking free and tonis a star are more guesswork than anything else.Only small stakes for me,just thought he place side of things looked ok more than picking winners which would be a bonus even though I know they aren't very big prices, jusr trying to find bets that will show some returns..

Done a slightly more speculative bet ew lucky 15

Ayr 3.30

Breaking free ran a decent 5th to wily rumpus at leicester last season in a slughtly better race than tomorrows but on seasonal debut missed the break, may have needed the run,but another pound drop could run well if handling faster ground..out of kyllachy so hopefully not to quick.Ching ching lor might also run better than last time ouit was in same race at catterick.

Hope you had a saver on ching ching lor sweet..:ninja: was unlucky in breaking frees race gutted never put it in multid.s

Captain bobs becoming hard to win with hasn't won since 2014 but made swell debut had a few of these behind in that race, there's a possibility could be set up for finisher though if they all take each other on and viva verghlas looks the one that could be the danger..

Tonis a star has become unreliable missing the breaks runs off 54 tomorrow with georgia cox ckaiming another 5 pound did win off 60 in june on the tutf but shown little on the awsince keeps missing the break. The positves are has never run in this grade and although has no fibresand form i thought her run here looked ok,missed break but switched to the rail had no chance from there that was back in jan only beaten 5ls off a mark of 63 this is such a poor race sheb may just run wel,l off this lowest ever martk..

Bahamian sunrise drawn 15 on standside which usually is advantage if not over watered was 2nd on seasonal debut behind the proogressive goodwood crusader at bath on fast ground although beaten easily, just three lifetime runs could be more to come off a mark of 64,lots of unexposed runners hart stopper was 3rd on turf debut run to pribce of cool

Bahamian sunrise 10/1 365 11/1 ppower/sportsbook/hills

Don't know why I thought highs were advantage they are on the farside not the nearside, just trying to do too much so obviously now a disadvantage...

Ew multiples etc, quite ironically i wouldn't like to see fast ground and so used tio seeing gd/fm then overwaered it's difficult to get into mindset that ground will be quick, hopefully the griound will have some good in it,this season they have so far been a bit more subtle with watering..Again will be hoping for at least frame places on what are short prices.

Longroom 4/7 365 skybet

Longroom won an apprentices rrace on seasonal debut, was on my to follows when winning at hamilton last season then flopped twice and won last time out, this might not be quite as obvious as should be as drawn wide so maybe worth having a reverse with teepee and cheeni tricast they both have form in this grade and on ground. It's going to go off 4/9 2/5 I woul;dv'e thought so decent trade free bet etc anyway..

Insurplus is ;ightly raced, only had 5 runs and was an eyecatcher at goodwood lasty season over 5fs made its seasonal debut yesterday at hamilton staying on in better class race, don't know whether it will run but at least short term looks worth following.Again the draw could be the negative on fast ground the highs tend to have it, insurplus drawn 5 impossible to know with watering etc but could well be heavily backed even though only ran yesterday and trainer in form.

Marshall aid runs consistently well in this grade never runs a bad race although has never won but only looks 2/3 in the race think yasir and the juggler could run ok and look dangers..Wordiness well handicapped and some far better form than these may well sluice up with de sousa riding the run at bath was different class just runs a few unexpected poor ones and no track form so have stuck with the maiden and track form.

Strange betting this mrning 9/2 betfred 4/1 victor/ppower/sjames/boyles/skybet/sportsbook/betway/88sport/32red should be nice trade this with these prices..

Not that bad a day forecast and winner first race had a couple of savers on others mentioned in two races plus another winner three places, reduid the heinxzes a couple of times with some of the drifters and they somehow made a profit, will definitely be persevering with the multiples unreal getting profit on the heinzes no return off the lucky.Far to many shorter prices especially on some dodgy ground, will need a day to recover after that lot..Hopefully something better later in week...Almost forgot fujin traded at 1.2 as well, which was main objective of bet although I never made anything on the race as I kept backing it and ended up having fortunes on it so had to lay it back at 3.5 to make sure I didn't do a fortune so getting stake back which was a bit of a gutter..

Wednesday Chester 3.0

A decent handicap sprint with a few improvers in the race but still the most interesting runner is 8yr old Sir maximilian he ran on this card last season in the conditions winning by an easy 4ls the most interesting thing was the time running .56 quicker than this years handicap and carrying 8 pound more than winner kimberella then rated 87 carrying 8 pound less than sir Maximillian but now rated 110.He hasn't won since that race but 2nd to medicean man and 3rd to krypton factor in meydan off these marks in the low 100s,not quite sure why he's 8/1 -7/1 and could easily go off favourite for this race..

Doncha maybe worth a small bet can't see to many outstanding in this years race, last time oput hadn't run for 2 months and although was behind firmament that race was over 7fs at ascot looked beat 3furlongs on but still was staying on at finish so respectable comeback run.Last year was a big eyecatcher in this race obviously loves this c/d mile mile not getting a clear run from the near side group where there was less pace motoring at finish the mile here looks perfect trip so stamina amnd ground issues seem ideal, strictly on that form has 3 1/2ls to find with gm Hopkins but would've been close between then with clear run.The rest of donnchas form hasn't compared really bar the last time run here over the inadequate 7fs,looks a tiny bit of value on last years run even though on strict formlines has a little to find with a couple,16s at the moment seems fair anything bigger would be too far to big..
If the draw does favour lows certainly wouldn't surprise me if master of the world ran ok always races with the pace 3rd in racelast year and although appears badly handicapped
looking through the field doesn't appear to be loads of pace on so could surprise and hit the frame.

The Lincoln

I do like morando as was an eyecatcher in the above race and looked under pressure but was picking up again looked open to loads of improvement but is 7/1,plus I put yuften up for the aw finals at 14/1 is even shorter to win the Lincoln at 12s but fit and still well handicapped on old form.I completely forgot about this race last year when donncha looked to be coming through to maybe win the race, ran ok on comeback run last season when 2nd at Donny in the spring mile,5th in a listed handicap at York,3rd to franklin d at goodwood, ran well behind librisa breeze over inadequate 7fs at ascot then the run behind yuften plus a respectable 4th in a listed race behind estidkhaar.Doesn't look as though as a specific ground preference ran well at Donny in the spring mile after exactly same break as this coming season, also hasn't been over raced and last season showed its most improvement.Morando looks the obvious improverbut no reason why donncha couldn't run well,i havn't really looked at the race I just remember the above race being very unlucky..

Victoria cup Saturday

Donncha again back to ascot where has the unlucky run at the end of the season behind yuften and remarkable, unfortunately this is a drop back in trip a mile does look his best trip but ran quite well over the c/d when 7th of 18 in October behind librisa breeze.Afjaan was in the race and held up looked a little bit unlucky and strictly on that form looks to have the beating of donncha but is 5 pound worse off and donnchas more than double the price. At these sort of prices with all its ascot form its hard to not have some sort of bet on it even though the trip maybe slightly on the short side and even though horse is hard to win with certainly deserves to pick up one of these.Has been going off a lot shorter at ascot in these races than current prices and I doubt whether he will be bigger than 10/1 tops on the day again the main positive is the horse isn't ground reliant runs equally well on gd/fm as well as gd/sft,probably shorter..

You could leave this till Thursday when guaranteed runner, may even be lucky and see some more 16/1 as well..

Won second div of a maiden at ripon time seemed ok beat a Johnston horse won next time out,he has a runner in this race so may well be better than capla dancer and she has to concede 7 pound to the fioeld. There is a negative as last time out unshipped jock and ran off round track at ripon and withdrawn,so obviously would not be overly confident but from decent draw id running to debut she should be placed at least..
If the Johnston horse drifts signufiantly, this will be snmashed off the boards and you may see it nearter evens than the 3/1,so could be cracking trade regardless of result..

More speculative this one trainers in form 3/15 in last fortnight from small stable she hasn't won very often but was rated 71 last june and last time out showed her first bit of form in a long while although only 5th of 8 was in better grade than this staying on,big step up in trip so bit of guesswork betting will be very interesting in a very weak looking race..Has run well over hurdles over 2mile which bit of a positive graham lee rides..The two favs do stand out cavalier stays and been running consistently, while tonto'spirit is only rated 48 on the flat yet has improved dramatically over hurdles and now rated 127 potentially very well handicapped..
